People aren’t listening to this basic fact .
How’s that any different than PL giving those same players the loot (with less restrictions than GL, so it’s more like they get something) and them doing the same things with it?
If we could not roll on gear, even at a lower iLVL, I and many others would simply never participate and you would be stuck in queues for hours with minimal tanks and healers.
It literally can’t be abused. You can’t need something you have.
It kind of can be abused, and I get where OP is coming from, if I ran LFR and a 467 iLVL piece dropped that has a different name to what I am wearing, I can need roll on it even though I don’t actually need it.
But too bad, if I can roll need and pass it to a friend or sell it, I am needing it.
You mean “you have a personal opinion about what you think the system SHOULD do” and those that disagree with you are simply following the rules put into the system by those that created and defined the system".
I only roll on the things i need,if i win and if someone needs it more than me i will give it to them,kindness goes a long way in this game
