Is there a way to check if I have already been flagged as having received the compass rose mount? I have now killed the boss 60 times (excluding 15 no tags) and still haven’t received it, despite seeing 2-3 drop every raid group and wowhead estimating it as 10% drop rate. I checked all my bags and mailboxes. I’m generally an unlucky person but this is ridiculous.

That’s a bummer, dude. Remember though, a 10% drop chance is still a 90% no drop chance. There is still luck involved.

Hoping its not bugged for me. You’d think Blizzard would add bad luck protection to fomo events like this since we know they have the coding already for legion emissary caches and mop world bosses. Two days already glued to my computer standing around; not exactly a fun “celebration.”

Wish I could say RNG is luck, but it’s just random…I went to my first event just now, and the Compass Rose dropped for me. Sincerely, Best of luck [no pun intended].

OP, I don’t know if there’s a way to check without an addon and that would only check to see if it’s in the bags of any character. You might be able to ask in the CS forum to see if they know a way to check.
Dropped for me twince in a row just now, gave one away of course. But it deos drop, i slo only have time between 12pm and 3-4am to do event so thats only 3-4 tries a day i have been doing.
I went afk at the spawn on my mount came back had credit for the boss got compass rose first “kill”. :x

I know you can get double farmable mounts, like old content , i got alot of double mounts from DS, Throne of Thunder , not sure about the event
Oh I knew that. I have a few 12-Bs and Flametalons in my bank.
I mean for the HS event. I’ve been killing Dr. Boom on two characters and last night they both got the hat, which I didn’t have. It was nice to give it away to someone.
But other than that, I have not received duplicates of anything. I’m wondering if the only reason I got two hats is I have two accounts.
Yea i think the event is non shared , i can tell you the way people are today if someone would get a mount and they can trade it they would try to sell it
Like I said, I got two hats last night. I was able to give the one I didn’t need to a stranger.
However, that was the one and only time I’ve received a duplicate of any of the loot, outside the bag. My question is if anyone knows if the mount, pet, toy and transmog items still drop if you already learned them.
Yea im not really sure, i got the mount, the hearthstone, and the hat, and i have not been seeing anymore loot drops
I have not recd a single duplicate item. I have them all. Even the cards didnt give duplicates.
Now you can get duplicate bags across your account. Ive gotten 4 and trying to get 2 more, If I can.

2 at one drop? I can see that being possible. But dont think your account can get 2 of an item (besides bags) otherwise. Im running 3 characters every hour and not receiving any duplicates except the bags on other characters.
I have two accounts and they both got the hat at the same time. I was wondering if that happened because of luck (of course) and the fact I didn’t have the hat learned yet.
I’m gonna keep farming the event for cards but it would have been cool to give away duplicates but I have a feeling that’s not going to happen.
How does that work having two accounts and unlocking transmog? The two WoW accounts basically sit under one umbrella bnet account, right, but are themselves technically separate? But does learning the hat on one also unlock it on the other?
Two licenses under the same bnet. Everything is shared across a bnet.
