You’re asking the wrong person, those are aDemoneyez words.
My point is your spreadsheet is a terrible way to distribute gear.
Okay, and you are free to have your opinion. I think GDKP is a terrible system, but I can at least acknowledge other people have different preferences and requirements.
You were mostly saying that I’m incapable of having trusting relationships with others because you like a really bad gear distribution system. However, if that’s what you need to tell yourself to get through the day, you have my blessing.
I’ve seen awesome guilds filled with the sweetest people absolutely blow up over the outside-of-raid brownie points.
Right there with ya on that one
You know nothing about my guild or why aspects of this system were selected. Know nothing about our past or level of trust/sense of community. You know none of the details, just the 2 sentences that I posted as a snap shot on the forums and decided to reach a complete conclusion about the system itself.
I never suggested anyone else use the system, nor would I since I dont see it working for most guilds.
Meanwhile I have only said why other systems would be bad for ME, I never declared them as bad systems in and of themselves. Yet you have declared that our system is a bad idea for US.
That and the bit about me not being able to form healthy relationships.
Namaste, little buddy.
Namaste.
When did I say that?
I said it is a shame you dont have people you can trust in game. Explain how that means you cant form healthy relationships.
Lacking something does not in anyway mean someone is incapable of doing something. Especially when it is not self-contained. You cant control the actions of others nor the people you encounter. In another guild I probably would have a problem with the system because it is likely I would not trust them to this extent.
Or if I was younger I might actually care enough to have a problem with it.
Never said I liked the system either.
Let us not pretend, you and I.
A blessing on your house and all who dwell in it.
I am not playing pretend
Is it so wrong to feel sad for people who are so jaded by life experiences that they are on the constant lookout for betrayal in a video game?
If I ever reached the point where I cared about the pixels enough to worry about being cheated in a video game I would just quit playing. And that is a personal stance, I would not put that expectation on others.
Its just odd that your reaction to someone you consider naive is to laugh at/mock them instead of to warn of caution.
Moving from a loot council TO a new system
Don’t expect that to stay like that, loot will have a trade window so they don’t have to deal with tickets to transfer misappropriated items.
Don’t be sad. Just don’t break the forum rules with personal attacks. It’s super simple. You don’t even need a spreadsheet for it.
Bless you, my son.
How did I break the forum rules?
I think its sad that you took a show of empathy as a personal attack. However if the moderators feel differently then so be it. I will take my ban.
Need/greed
I’m trying to give you absolution, but you’re going to have to work with me here, my lad.
Admit your transgression and give me ten Hail Marys.
Now go and sin no more.
Nah,
If no sin is committed then I feel no need to repent. Wish you the best and I hope you find people in game that you dont feel the need to protect yourself from.
/Sigh
You can lead 'em to water but you can’t make 'em sand and zinc.
You really only have a few options. You can let each Kara run a loot council, but that is likely to get too chaotic too quickly, and likely won’t sit well with some folks.
You can have the Kara teams run a seperate EPGP table just for kara.
Or simplest, just run a MS>OS roll, given the small raid size and the incentivization to bring a diverse raid, you won’t have much in the way of overlap outside of tier pieces. If you want to avoid gear being too randomized and avoiding it clumping on one player, you can make it a Round Robin MS>OS roll.
