I mean if I was in EpGp or DKP guild I would spend 0 points in phase 1 (just gear using badges) and then when ulduar drops I should have enough of a lead to get my pick of loot
Bad players hate LC usually because they get passed on and the items typically go to the better players.
They canât comprehend they are green parsing and the item is better on the player who actually performs, bad players think they are entirety all drops and when they donât get them they bash the system because they canât take personal responsibility for their poor play.
Youâre not wrong. Iâd say LC is the worst system simply because thereâs far more dishonest LCs compared to honest ones. You and I both know the content is a pushover. Thereâs no need for LC unless youâre attempting server or world first, speedrunning or a hardcore parsing guild and even then theyâre still prone to favoritism.
It seems you donât understand the English language KEK.
What I canât understand is why someone makes such a fuss over something that doesnât effect them? Like there is always that person who complains that a group doing content they want to do has an item on âHR.â Yet instead of just looking for another group, they complain that the group they arenât joining is HRâing an item.
Same situation here. Donât like LC? Donât join a guild that uses LC, problem solved. Why are you on here trying to convince everyone else that LC is bad? Especially when you have conceited that LC is useful in some situations (world/server first).
If the people that are in that raid are content with that loot system then they will continue using that loot system. If not, they will leave.
Like what is the argument? That LC should not exist at all and everyone should be forced to use other forms of loot distribution? Because they already tried that with retail and guilds did not like that.
People donât like it when choice is taken away from them.
Itâs not really a big deal either way. People who worry so much about the loot are the ones who typically cause the drama regardless. If you continue raiding with the same players, youâll have the loot, and you donât need the loot to clear the content so thereâs that ÂŻ_(ă)_/ÂŻ
The system doesnât matter. Retaining the same players in an atmosphere with good vibes is the root of it all.
That being said, I am in favor of rewarding people who perform over people who are not performing. I died to something stupid in a fight and passed all the loot. Why would I want to take loot from my guildies when they carried me on the fight? LC generally awards the top performers first, which is justified IMO.
If you feel like LC just goes to guild members friends, youâre either underperforming and butthurt or in a terrible guild, but Iâd go with option one more often than not.
I would say that straight ML is worst than LC. At least with LC, you have several people who have to agree to screw you over. A single ML determining who gets loot is more susceptible to the âeGFâ.
Aside of that, I would say that LC is pretty bad. EPGP is bad as well when first starting or adding new players. A new player will have an EPGP rating higher than pretty much everyone else after one boss kill (if they donât get loot from that boss), thus guaranteeing them loot without necessarily earning it.
DKP is fair so long as points are accumulated through defined and trackable means and has decay to prevent hording.
If youâre in a guild where you canât trust the LC, then you probably shouldnât be in that guild in the first place. EP/GP is great if you want lots of abyss crystals.
youâre allowed to have your own opinions even if theyâre wrong.
