It’s not being removed? It’s being moved to the BMAH. If anything, this will make it an even LOWER gold sink, and make it more obtainable for people.

I doubt it’ll be anything less than 5 mill. Could even go for more.

I’m sorry, but there is NO defending this. The Mammoth and Grummle mounts did NOT go anywhere, and they are in every way the EXACT equivalent for their time periods. This a naked attempt to sell hundreds of dollars in tokens to whales. Anyone who can’t see that is either blind or being completely disingenuous.

I just don’t think It’ll start at a solid 5m honestly. I mean it probably could, but I think it’ll start quite low. Like 500k maybe?
Unobtainable mounts end up in the hundred of thousands, sometimes gold cap… this mount when is not on the vendor… will have many many more fighting for it and it will fetch in the millions, so no I don’t see your point. I don’t see it going for lower.

I am selling a Swift Shorestrider for 4 million gold. This is far less than wowheads suggested buyout price. I am looking to get my own Bruto and I was lucky enough to come across this Shorestrider at Blizzcon. Any offers?
I will agree this is BS and there is absolutely no sane reason to remove this mount.
That said, you’re not leaving the game because of this. If you’re truly leaving, you had already made that decision.

This tipped the scale simply because it shows to me they are in another world regarding design philosophy so while not directly influencing, it tipped the scale. Made it easier to decide since Shadowlands reveal was lackluster for me.

I have been thinking that all along - I seem to recall a thread about it at the start - the details I can’t really remember. I was hoping someone else would remember it but I am guessing most people didn’t really pay attention or don’t want to get involved in this hornet’s nest.
Some people see patterns in things before others can spot them - there is a reason for that. I will let you figure why that is if you can.
How is it easier to obtain… I actually see them make things harder to obtain. They just do this to satisfy the more stubborn, gold makers and encouraging token sales for those that don’t have that last bit of gold.
I am complaining 'cause it is out of the blue and just a silly thing to do.
5 Mill, while big for a lot, is something people can’t always make right away… I was close but stupid mistakes happened… 90% of the people now won’t want to make the gold, or are we just throwing fake numbers also.

are you sure? while this alone wouldn’t drive anyone away it does have a cumulative factor attached. Blizz has had probably the worst PR year in its history, lackluster expansion, ongoing criticisms regarding communication, mass layoffs, blitzchung, increases in store mounts etc.
Actiblizz has burned ALOT of goodwill this year, this is just another slap in a long list of slaps. People will get sick of it. Frankly if another MMO came out that appealed to me I don’t think it would be too hard to leave wow behind (and I never thought I would say this)

They said 90%, they didn’t say all or did you miss that part. Most of the people in these threads said they don’t have the gold. There wouldn’t be complaints if they did.
I can certainly understand why you would be complaining since you will have to shell out almost all your gold to buy it.
