Which is rly sad cuz buttons are fun to press in this expansion
but with the lack of rewards and being able to cap whenever you want to makes it pointless to queue cause the only feasible reward is practically unobtainable given how deflated the ladder is

made game less appaling to casuals
maybe to pros its better because 3s is more balanced but considering we are on a relaunch of a 14 year old version of the game it should be more catered to casuals imo

Ive faced the same teams many times. As well his point is the only reward is 2200 which atm is only Gladiator range. Unreachable for everyone but the top 1% currently. Given time the ladder should get better. If they had wotlk inflation turned on a lot would be able to reach it, like rival range. Itll feel better by the end of the season, cdews R1 tournament team is about 100 rating above everyone @ almost 2700, so i think people will break 3k and ladder will be more spread out and climbing to 2200 wont require beating the very best players in NA.

Casuals arent getting Gladiator either way, it doesn’t have any effect on casuals.

They only removed glad and r1 from 2’s. Casuals were not getting anywhere remotely close to gladiator. The 2’s title thing is a non issue.
Now, the deflated ladder overall is perhaps an issue, because getting 2200 at the moment is almost gladiator cutoff, which is far too difficult for the transmog reward. But inflation is slowly kicking in, maybe it needs to be manually tuned, should wait another week or two.

2s is the worst bracket in the game by a mile.
So many games end in draws and it’s beyond boring.
Again there is nothing wrong with titles being removed from 2s.
you have to be a complete masochist to play healer in 2s so I don’t blame you for that opinion
but for most people 2s is very fun

I think healer/dps is fun in cata.
it definitely can be, but I would say most of the time they turn into slogs especially at higher ratings
Yeah 2s is unbalanced, some healer dps just counters the hell out of double dps but also cause 45min games if they ever vs another healer dps.
2s can be fun to mess around with but playing it on a serious level is next level awful and especially in a xpac where you can be 2% mana and still be healing fine for 10min+.
It’s also too much of a rock paper scissor when it comes to comps.

I like Hpal/DK and Hpal/FireMage, games can still end fast they arent typically 45mins.

I’m playing thug and having a blast. We either win or lose within a minute.

Hpal/DK can be like that too if the enemy team includes a Priest. And it often does include a priest.
Also if the enemy team includes a resto shaman the match is over in under 1 min because they flop too.
Yeah and you can keep playing that if you want.
You can play whatever you want in 2s but titles are gone and that’s that.
thats not the point
if theres competition in the ladder and games are rolling the top notch players will eventually climb and will open the avenue for mid tier rewards for casuals
