Druids = Unique cat form, bear form, travel forms for land, air, sea as well as boomkin form and tree of life. As well as legion bird color.
Paladins = New racial paladin mount
Demon hunters: Unique animations need added for every race, as well as skin textures and metamorphsis form.
Shamans = Designing new racial totems
Is the kind of work they would have to do for these four classes that have something unique outside of default animations.

I think it has more to do with the Paladin mounts.

Undead priests make sense and they explain it, it hurts them and restores them to a prior damaged state and is described as suffering nobly both casting it and being healed by it.
Even described as restoring taste and smell for a time but that it is an unpleasant experience.
There is even undead paladins ingame, etc.
Light and death magic have shown to be able to live together, but cause pain in union.

My favorite part of all this is, of course, all the potential new characters I can hope to one day make (câmon undead pallies!). But a close second is seeing all the rabid lorehounds rant about how this will utterly ruin the game.
And coming in at third is knowing that, once it goes live and becomes official canon lore, theyâll defend it just as ferociously should any new players question it. I canât help but remember the sheer OUTRAGE when Draenei were added, how it was an absolute CRIME against the lore to even suggest someone looking like Archimonde could ever be a goodguy, let alone a SHAMAN. Here we are, over a decade later, and holy demon space goats have yet to bring the game to crashing ruin.

They should have been Rogues since the beginning since Akama in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and his Draenei (before they were renamed to The Broken in The Burning Crusade) could use stealth.

I almost donât care anymore about all of this, but one thing does keep coming to mind:

Rogues use magic to stealth that is how they mask the sound of them moving.
Have you ever been on a farm? The wifeâs family raises cattle. Itâs SCARY how sneaky they can be. One second youâre in a field by yourself, then you turn around and your surrounded by an entire herd. Animals that large should not be so stealthy. Also they are expert escape artists given half a chance.

Iâm stoked. I also appreciate that they arenât just going to drop a bunch of classes into the remaining slots but try to do it where it makes sense. To me, I read that as hopefully having some small side quests or exposure to things like blood elf druids or void elf paladins⊠I wouldnât be mad at that.
Not every race.
Nightborne and Void Elves already have all the Demon Hunter animations and voice lines (like âmy pain is lowâ etc). Nightborne might need some refitting of the Night Elf skin textures but that shouldnât be too difficult.
Those two are the easiest races to proliferate Demon Hunter to right now.
Looking forward to mechagnome druid forms.
Says the Death Knight. Class restrictions should have been dead the minute the first pink pigtailed gnome DK rolled off the assembly line.
I genuinely fought the idea of Gnome DKâs (and some other races) tooth and nail, but I guess some among the devs just thought âwouldnât it be funny if Gnomes could be DKâs?â, which was terrible reasoning, but as you say, really kind of killed the whole âvibeâ and lore of the Class.
I hope that we get Blood Elf, Nightfallen, Void Elf, Dwarf/Dark Iron, Gnome/Mecha Gnome, Pandaren, and Vulpera Druids
I like how they say this while simultaneously implementing a new race that is more limited than ever before. >_<
Maybe theyâre including Dracthyr in this philosophy, thoughâŠ
Iâll be really excited if I ever get to play a belf shaman
just rip off the damn band-aid already,
all of the restrictions have always been bad, both for gameplay and rp. It is the most outdated aspect of the game, more so than the faction locking.

I disagree.
DHs will always only be NEs and BEs.
