Looking for new game

Id honestly recommend swtor or runescape mainly runescape as its played with only a mouse and both are free to try out so no harm if its not your speed.
Also Im not sure on sc cheat on wow forum but you can google sc god mode cheat and wham bam zerg puddles.

It’s strange. I loved the first two, and can’t ever get past the first 20 minutes of Inquisition. Just find it so boring and I don’t know why.

Nah, 2 is fine as hell. I hated it at the time too but my most recent playthrough I had a blast, combat is fun but the wave system is what drags it out. It’s real strength are it’s characters, Hawke included, their personal stories are what make DA2 worth playing.

Inquisitor as a protagonist is a mix between wanting to be a blank state character like the warden but having a voice and limited choices like Hawke which leads to a protagonist that is both uninteresting and monotone and it really drained my enjoyment out of Inquisition.

I forced myself to play through 2 recently, it just isn’t fun.

There’s like 5 maps, and enemies spawn out of thin air, it just doesn’t feel great.

I played origins on nightmare and had a blast, but trying to do nightmare in 2 was just tedious.

I agree on that, I liked most of the characters, can’t say I was a huge fan of the central plot though, kinda felt like the ending just sorta happened and going into the deep roads was an affterthought to justify it.

Honestly, I play LA with all the seriousness I play WoW. I’m there to smash things, gather up my inventory, and go home. Will I ever see a raid or M+ that matters? Probably not, but I still have fun.

There’s other ARPGS I can recommend. Grim Dawn and Last Epoch chief of them.

The Souls series sounds like what you’re looking for. Though Elden Ring is the popular recommendation, I would actually suggest the earlier entries, since ER is way the hell harder than the DS games are.

I never played Dragon Age, or The Witcher series (namely 3), but those might meet your criteria.

ESO is on sale on Steam for $5.99 right now!

I only have a VR kit because my oldest was into that stuff for a while. That was an expensive, short-lived mistake

So far, I’ve only played a couple of FPS and poker on it lol

Grim Dawn! Yes forgot about that one. A really good game. Last Epoch, I’m waiting for release to try again (did they release? whoops). I didn’t like the crafting system much when I tried it. PoE I come and go from. But it’s been a while. Probably won’t go back tbh.

It has not released yet, but the Multiplayer beta comes end of the month.

Crafting is still much the same, though.

Oh that’s right, the multiplayer coming. I did hear about that. THAT I will check out.

If you just want something to kill some time, keep occupied, whatever, you can download RIFT. Yeah, Gamigo isn’t doing it any favors now, but for someone who’s never played it, it’s got some fun things to do and you aren’t forced into group content. Really nice “housing” system too. Free to play as well.

I really like last epoch, but the glacial pace of content updates means it will never be able to compete with any other arpg.

still better than wolcen.

In fairness, the devs for Last Epoch are doing all they can to make sure each step actually works before settling on it and multiplayer is a massive one. Content may be slow, but I’ve rarely had issues with it when it comes out.

Then look elsewhere. Asking people who enjoy the game you do not is gonna get you nowhere.

oh for sure, I’m not knocking the quality of their content, I don’t think I’ve encountered any bugs/issues playing.

They do a lot of backend stuff frequently, just not a ton of tangible new content. I just worry that between PoE2 and D4, by the time they release they wont have an audience.

I feel that will change once they get over the last couple hurdles. The dev streams have a lot of great ideas to come, but the focus is on making sure multiplayer works and getting a trade system that isn’t busted one way or the other.

Alright Negative Nancy. I’ve gotten a LOT of great suggestions here. People usually play more than one game. Shows what you know.

I’ll be here when you try out said games and realize you have the same issue
