Does anyone have any recommendations?
What is your monitor resolution? Cheap no longer applies for 1440p or higher. Maintaining high FPS is tough for crowded areas as well.
My monitor is 1080p, right now in my newegg cart I have an amd ryzen 3600, not sure what memory to get?
I’m suppose to clock the memory to like c16 and 3600mhz or 3800mhz, I forget but Idk which memory to do that with. Only have a $200 budget for memory
Try Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 3060 Ti.

RTX 3060 Ti is $399 and 5600X is $299 if you can find it with stock. Intel Rocket Lake is coming on March as well.
Get the cheapest RAM with high mhz and lower CL.
WoW loves speedy CPUs more than cores.
March? When will rocket lake cpus be available to purchase?
No dates yet. Expected launch is March.
I guess I’ll hold out. How come the 11900k doesn’t have faster clock speeds than the 10900k?
Intel buffed 11900K with 19% more IPC (Instructions per clock). Probably very aggressive turbo.
Does higher IPC mean WoW will run faster? I thought wow was based on clock speed?
Yes, IPC is like how many cars it can run on a road at the same time. Clock speed is like how fast your car runs. Cores is like number of lanes on the road.
Guess I’ll wait for benchmarks then.
Intel looks like it’s going to be a beast to cool. The last leak showed the 11900k on a 360mm AIO near throttling…in Aida64. That’s one of the tamest CPU stress tests out there, and if it’s getting to 95c+ in those tests on a 360mm AIO…at stock settings…on an 8-core…it’s for sure going to throttle on something like P95/Cinebench

Even if it does manage to beat Zen3 by 7% in single-threaded performance, the heat and power is going to be insane. If this is true.
That seem a bit suspicious… They said that the voltage was 1.325 and the CPU Z report it wrong at 1.4
But 1.4V sound about right for a 250w draw though. I wonder what they used for overclocking? It might just be a bug on the Vcore setting.
Under load it would drop, so if it was indeed 1.4 under load then it would be something like 1.45 which is pretty high.
Maybe hopefully it’s just lies.
You guys think a Ryzen 3600 can push 144fps at quality 10? Not in a city, I mean open world.
It will be close, and you can lower a few settings here and there.
I’ve seen that, I didn’t see 3600 only 5600/5800x
See time stamp in my edit.
It has a graph and its well over 100fps on settings 10.
oooo thank you.
Lower a couple of things and you can get to 144.
