Is anyone aware of an addon that will automatically change the UI setups based on raid size, or perhaps character or character spec?
Default Blizzard UI used to have an option to automatically change the UI layout by what raid size you were in, but it had problems (especially in battlegrounds) and only limited to a few options.
I’d prefer to stay away from overhauls, I like to run things mostly barebones and use as much of default UI as I can
What aspects of the UI are you looking to change based off group size?
It wouldn’t be changing the UI per se, but instead it would change the UI profile that’s currently loaded based on preset configuration. For example I have a UI layout set up in the default Blizzard UI for a healer of a 10 man raid, a healer in a 15 man raid, and a healer in a 40 man raid.
What I’m hoping for is something that can recognize I’m in a resto spec, and then swap to the appropriate UI profile based on my raid size. I can sort of do this now with a script command, for example:
/run C_EditMode.SetActiveLayout(3)
But I’m finding I have a LOT of different profiles I’d like to set up, profiles for healing, dps, raids, arenas, and each script command would have to be set in a macro and activated from a hotbar, it’s just getting to be too much.
I don’t know of any addons that already exist for that but this thread might point you in the right direction for making one.
