I’ve been playing the game on and off since vanilla and I’ve been struggling to find a home since the last time I came back. I’m okay with alliance or horde, I care more about the people I am playing with than the faction or server. I’ve raided in the past and wouldn’t mind doing so again as long as it’s not too hardcore but raiding will never be my number one priority. I just miss back when guilds would say hello when you logged in, when people would ask their guildmates if they want to do something instead of just pugging it. I miss feeling like I am a part of something! Does this even exist anymore or am I just too old and/or jaded for this game now?

Aegis is an adult, LGBTQ+ friendly, Alliance guild on Galakrond-US. Don’t let “adult” fool you, we’re certainly not “grown-up” by any stretch of the imagination, but we do have jobs, families, and outside responsibilities, so our approach to gaming is understanding of those things. We like to kill bosses with our friends and have a good time laughing while we do it!
Aegis currently has two set roster heroic teams, a two-night T/Th 7-10 central and a one-night Sunday at 6p central - both have consistently achieved AOTC over the past several years, both currently recruiting. We also run an open invite normal run on Saturday evenings that serves as a launching pad for new raiders, more casual players and alt experimentation. (And beverages and laughs.) We recruit players, not classes, as a rule, and strongly believe our members will have the most fun if they are playing a class that is the most fun for them. Joining the guild is not a guarantee of an immediate heroic raid spot, as the set rosters are up to the individual raid leaders, but I’m happy to put you in touch with those leaders if you want to talk that over first!
Our primary goal has always been to create a home for our members where our relationships with other players are celebrated AND our various adventuring itches are scratched, so while the guild organized activities tend to skew toward raiding and PvE content, our members enjoy a wide variety of activities, from achievements and collections to PvP and gold making. We encourage any member to start a group for the content that they enjoy and are happy to support that if we can!

Good morning Airlani! We would love to have you join our family! From Ashes is an alliance guild my husband and I lead on the Whisperwind/ Dentarg servers. We are a social/ casual guild with a low stress raiding environment. Most of our members are older members (most are between mid 30s - 50s) with children and full time jobs. Our goal is to have a guild that feels like a family, where our members actually care about one another and want to hang out. ABOUT US
Enshadowed-US-Thrall is a semi-casual raiding guild, formed in 2008 on US-Wildhammer. We are made up of players with a variety of experience in WoW, from vanilla to new players and most of us have been playing together for a long time over a decade.
We moved to Stormreaver in Mists(which is now sadly severely low-pop) and have transferred to US-Thrall on 3/27/2021 for better recruitment with the goal of attaining AOTC and Mythic Raiding. While getting “Cutting Edge” is not our main goal, we would like to attain the numbers in our roster again to do mythic bosses and work toward it at some point.
OUR CURRENT NEEDS:
RAIDING
•1 Tank and those who have tanking specs for mythic plus (bonus)
• Healers (For raiding and those who can dual spec for Mythic Plus)
• Reliable DPS - Currently looking for melee classes as we are ranged heavy - DK, DH and WW monk would be ideal.
OVER ALL - Invested raiders and team members. We raid only 2 days a week and expect raiders not to be “raid loggers” who simply assume the raid will gear them and only sign on those days. Be punctual, know your class and be courteous about showing up for raid and most of all be “chill” we want to down bosses but have fun doing so.
MYTHIC PLUS
DPS, Tanks & healers who want to push keys. This is a bonus. We would like to get back to having more than enough people who want to do mythic plus have the opportunity to do so with very little pugging. Being dual specced and having the ability to tank or heal is a HUGE plus.
OVER ALL: Our goal is to push toward attaining KSM for guildies and again not having to pug spots in all possible.
COMMUNITY
There are no specific requirements for players who do not wish to raid. If you wish to pvp, do achievements, gather mats to your hearts content, tell us bad jokes in discord (we use discord A LOT in this guild…) you can have a home here.
Be an “altoholic” (we have tons of those)~ All we ask as that you be inclusive, nice, and mature. Returning players, Mythic Plus Busters and anyone looking for a home is also welcome to join and be part of our community. We just ask that you be active in discord. You will find that the guild tends to be chatty there and THAT is where you will find most of us doing content.

Yo I’ve been looking for a home myself as well and your guild appeals to me. I don’t have any toons on your server but would be willing to level as it’s pretty fast these days and I enjoy it. I play demon hunter, mage, and druid. Not sure what roles your raids need, but I can heal/tank/dps on these classes. Down for whatever as long as you guys would be willing to have me. [A] Descendants of Lore is a semi-casual Alliance raiding guild on Khadgar/Alleria/Exodar/Medivh that has been around and consistently raiding since Vanilla (16 + Years). We are a small to medium sized, close-knit guild of friendly, mature players, with the majority being over the age of 30 with, jobs, families, and adult responsibilities. We are careful with recruiting so no one gets lost in the crowd and everyone has a raid spot.
RAIDING:
We offer a laid back environment with dedicated players willing to put in the work to succeed but not at the expense of fun or sanity. We are currently:

Are you extra social? Do you love to pug and meet new people? Do you know how to coax us introverts out of our shells without overdoing it? We may eventually have a recruitment/social officer position available to the right person.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for mature, friendly, active, and dedicated players to join us for Shadowlands and beyond.
If you wish to raid, we expect you to come prepared (food, flasks, enchants, gems, know your class and rotation) and on time, come with a good attitude and know how to wipe with dignity and work towards progress.
We will accept anyone who would be a good fit for our guild, and can currently accommodate almost any class, but are especially looking for a Raid Tank/DPS hybrid and/or Death Knight, 1-2 heals, and dps to round out our raid team.
We are consistently raiding, but working to get our raid group back up to 14-20 people after losing some to New World and Diablo. In the mean time we are using our community channel to fill raids.

Abomination - Area 52 is a casual guild. We started as a reroll guild, but are now moving to the next stage. Everyone at any level any class is welcome to join us!
Our raid days are Thursday and Friday 7:30 pm EST - 10:30 pm EST. There is still some space on our raid roster. Our current progress is 10/10N 10/10H 1/10M. Hi Airlani, I feel your pain, the game has really changed over the years, and the family atmosphere that you used to get when being part of a guild just seems gone.
We are Tom Sellecks Mustache on Thrall (EST) and we pride ourselves on being a family type of guild. We are primarily a raiding guild, but the thing that keeps us coming back during these long droughts of worthwhile content is our members, our family. We have suffered quite a bit during Shadowlands starting out the tier with 27 raiders, and ending with around 12. Eventually we just decided to take a well needed break. The content just hasn’t been what we had hoped and the only thing that kept us raiding was the chance to hang out with our friends.
With 9.2 we are trying to get the band back together, we have all kept in touch during our break and have high hopes that 9.2 will give us something to do again.

At Tom Sellecks Mustache we value the player above all, so we recruit the person behind the mask not the toon. We look for people that want to be part of a family, people that enjoy logging on to be part of a community, and people that remember that this is “a Game”, and it’s supposed to be fun.
TSM is made up of mature adults and we have no time for drama or elitist players, we play the game for what it is “A Game”. We laugh and carry on in Discord while we raid, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously, so we just run back and try again when we die. With a little effort and some encouragement, we get the job done and are able to sit back and laugh about our mistakes but celebrate and enjoy our success.
