The ugliest and laziest race Blizzard has ever concocted is going to be more popular than a mostly conventional looking humanoid race? Kul’tirans THE FAT RACE no one likes are played more than Mechagnomes.

Very unfortunate, but they do just use Troll and Night Elf assests with fur glued on.
Not too hard to make them playable.
its worth noting that they use the night elf rig whereas most other npc races use old/unique ones. the only standout are the skinny kul tirans and they use the female undead rig

They’re a waste. We do not need more elf or troll like races.
There are maybe 15 races that people have requested for 20+ years and while the pretentious helfers won’t play them, it doesn’t mean we should continue to ignore those races.
