I didn’t dodge, you were posting faster than I could keep up with while actually playing the game and not just complaining about it
“Blizzard changed blade of grass 1,000,001 in the Stonefield farm, ERA IS RUINED”
That’s all of you.
Go play Era, sorry not sorry you didn’t get these mythical pristine FrEsH realms, Anniversary realms are not fresh era.
You asked for data because you don’t play Classic Era BGs and have no idea why the changes were good or bad. You just recited the intention behind the change without understanding it’s repercussions, an intention I even initially agreed with.
It’s like I’m not even speaking English lmao.
Yes? Does that not include Vanilla, and pointing out how Classic is nothing like how Vanilla was?
Blizzard broke Seal of Righteousness completely on Classic Era and Anniversary so they could change paladins on SoD. It does not function as it was intended to by design.
Of course Beta isn’t Vanilla. Vanilla started on launch date. I made that post knowing someone would try to link the patch notes from Beta. Because I find baiting people who don’t know what they’re talking about fun.
Anyway, all these Retail players can always go play SoD. This is fresh Classic.
Your idea of what happened is why nobody wants to engage with you. You don’t engage in good faith. You just start spouting your own misguided idea of whats happening here.
How does any of your reply have to do with layering…
I just want to bully people I talk to in the discord.
Ok, so what of all the changes made after launch date to 1.12? Classic never had the same progression issues and challenges as Vanilla, you started as Naxx tuned characters. It never was Vanilla.
Want me to go get patch notes showing changes over time in the OG Classic?
Games get changes, OG Vanilla had fundamental flaws on launch. Releasing it a second time is the best chance to fix small things while keeping the spirit of the game alive. Does the new SoR work better or worse? or are you able to see past the red and make an objective declaration?
I get people liked those flaws, similarly to how people liked the glitches in Elder Scrolls.
Overall the changes have been minor and the debacle with the SoD bleed over (druid pole arms, etc) was walked back.
Enjoy your Era progression server, Ill be having fun reliving the spirit of Vanilla on the Anniversary realms with people who enjoy playing the game over complaining about it online.
Sure it was.
It was as if a new server was created in late Vanilla. That’s how Ion described it.
I still have yet for anyone to actually explain why dual spec or no debuff limit somehow completely ruins their experience.
Someone has you’re just incapable of listening to contradicting opinions.
No they’ve made it real clear their complaint is just knowing it exists.
There’s someone in this thread who stated it was due to people feeling forced to have meta 1 and meta two specs.
Which is a garbage “I can’t make my own decisions!!” excuse that is as thin as one ply toilet paper.
You should of taken it with me.
None of that means anything to what I said. A spell that was intended to work a specific way no longer works not because it was balanced but because it was broken to work for a completely different version of the game.
Seal of Righteousness not proccing effects like a secondary attack is similar to if blink stopped breaking mages out of stuns. That’s not a rudimentary change to the game. That is fundamentally breaking a spell.
These people hate the game. That’s why they want to change everything in it.
Not understanding the difference between present tense and past tense is fundamentally more stupid than using common parlance in virtual text.
That’s what these servers are…
And look at all the Retail players showing up asking for this change, and that change. And then Blizz caves in (which is the completely opposite of the ridiculous statement the OP made), and these players ask for more…and more and more and more.
The players who want an authentic Vanilla have been shoved to the side. And the selfish, entitled players who had a Seasonal server made just for them still come to Fresh and demand all kinds of changes.
And this ‘minor changes’ argument is ridiculous. You know how many threads I’ve seen asking for ‘minor changes’ like complete class overhauls, huge balance changes, every convenience known to man. Entitlement never ends once Blizz caves at all.
The real issue is that Blizzard can’t make people 15 years old again. That is the source of 90% of the complainers on these forums. Unless Blizzard develops time travel the forum will be filled with people who have played the game for 15 years and just want their old times back
