nice strawman. you cannot and will likely never be able to buy gear directly from the store. people bought runs with gold in vanilla. they do it now in classic and tbcc. the meta for leveling speaks for itself. answer my question. are all multiplayer games p2w? yes or no.

Achievements, mounts, and in the case of pvp you get actual higher ilvl that people below the rating you bought have no access to, giving you a permanent advantage

You did not buy the gear/achievement/whatever from the store, you bought GOLD
What you do with that gold is up to you.
- Buy gear
- Send everyone in your friends list some gold
- Buy crafting mats
- Buyout all the auctions and repost them at a higher price.
- Hoard it because you like it when people point at you and say “Your sack sir, it is gigantique!”

Apparently you’re not capable of understanding an indirect v direct source of finding. Directly purchasing on games things with cash would be pay to win. The only reason for the token existence is to combat against Chinese gold Farmers, just saying.
if you buy the gold the gold will pay for everything else.

That’s hundreds to thousands of dollars. $300 to $2000 to be a bit more exact. I can’t believe that many people are spending that much money.
