It’s okay.
She’s still the hottest Dragon, so her presence is always welcomed.

They tossed him aside to let Tyrande be important.
It isn’t okay. They brought her back for 0 reason lol.
Also, I disagree. Merithra looks better, but Wrathion will always be best.
The fact that they didn’t kill him off this patch is annoying, because Blizzard clearly has no idea how to write a god like being in a story where he takes side with the one of the playable factions. It would’ve been a good time to show how strong Fyrakk is by having him kill not just a Malfurion but a Malfurion desperately trying to defend the Dream.
But I’m assuming they have plans for him at some point down the road and…it’s going to be terrible.
Actually she DID help, but it was only to fight back the invaders during that one quest. After that she tried to do more but wasn’t able to due to the dream rejecting her or something. After that she just stayed to make sure the tree sprouted.
Whofurion?
Malfurion is one of the most boring characters in Warcraft. Hopefully he stays asleep.
Tyrande would be way more interesting if she was in a relationship with Illidan.
Malfurion has become a joke of a character over the years. One of the reasons I like Darkheart Thicket in this M+ season is that I get to listen to Xavius mocking him all over again throughout the entire dungeon.
Says the “shadow” of Xavius!
Right? Same!
I get that they wanted to swap Furion for Ysera to help defend the dream. Especially at the time of the quest. It made sense to have Ysera come back to give Merithra the confidence she needs to become the aspect.
So they bench Malfurion for Ysera, and then she doesn’t do anything. She comes out, kills 6 dudes with her breath and then… channels a shield in the dream for like 20 mins.
They specifically leave Malfurion out of the Druid patch and then don’t utilize Ysera.
So frustrating.
She’s hot, so it’s okay.
Is this a reference for something I don’t get?
He has napping as his 5th spec and he refuses to change and flex.
He’s too manly for the new bliz team
Blizzard has a massive aversion to killing off prominent lore characters. Arthas and Ursoc are like the only ones that come to mind who supposedly are for realsies dead…but I fully expect some retcon or hidden gotcha (at least for Arthas) where at the super duper last second, he fused his soul to Sylvanas and thus redeemed her curing her of her undeadness and making her a real girl again and the bad part of her soul is gone forever.
Both Stormrage brothers ar HIGHLY overrated. Illidork will be back someday possibly in the light vs void expansion to “save us once again”. Loserfurian will eventually come back to stand around and act powerful and important while doing next to nothing anyway.
You know it’s funny, because if I wasn’t able to recall my clients at work in my real life job (or other community names I’m responsible to know), I’d get fired immediately. That number far exceeds what the story team is responsible for.
Or hire professional editors to go over your quest text…
How the lore team waltzes into work every day and drops every ball imaginable is embarrassing. I don’t know how someone can be this bad at this job. You only have to track like 10-20 major lore NPCs and refer to those character bios once every 6 months during a quest polish before a PTR release.
Micro level, it’s fine. Quest hubs are cohesive small scale story beats that make sense. Macro level, it’s a clown show and has been for a long time.
Yet here we are…again.
lol exactly, hahahha
He gonna come outa the dream with a new gf.
Tyrande night warrior 2.0 begin.
That’d be legit hilarious.
