#nochanges is dead
These are all good changes except the boosts.
So it’s good #nochanges died. Where’s the corpse of their movement so we can put a toilet on it.
are they? I dont think i read anything on that.
Cool story OP
No changes was literally just for Vanilla, that was kind of obvious
#nochanges is for vanilla, TBC has a different mantra.
The pally changes make sense. It was a mistake and one they didn’t realize would be so huge.
Boost is fine as well. It hurts nothing and you get ONE. If you want to be autistic and get 6 different accounts for boost and it’s your budget that’s on you.
I’m all for the healthy changes made, but I don’t see the point of this post except for antagonizing the other group.
because when I logged in this morning and noticed the Burning Crusade form and all I’m seeing was #nochanges, thats why I made this post
Blizzard specifically stated in the burning Crusade Deep dive panel that they’re moving away from #NoChanges to #SomeChanges. so yes “no changes” is dead as it should be.
Same.
If somebody is going to list things as “it’s coming”, at least provide the evidence/make sure it’s true.
Wasn’t it like universally agreed that #nochanges is what made classic not as good as it could’ve been?
depends on who you ask. There are still plenty of people who say #nochanges was this noble defense that prevented WoW tokens from entering Classic. There are still people who refuse to look back on the toxicity and damage it caused because they supported the movement themselves.
#nochanges is dead
Uh, yeah. You think? Blizzard came out and explicitly said “#somechanges” already. That’s a literal quote from Holly Longdale, Lead Producer.
Did we need a thread to point out the obvious?
No changes was literally just for Vanilla, that was kind of obvious
Well, it was supposed to be, anyway.
Too bad we get #somechanges for both.
Ironically, no changes ruined the classic experience for non-retail players.
I’d have done significant changes to recreate the experience not the actual game. The raids could have had differences so guilds weren’t pre-prepared
Paladins are getting both seals
At max level.
Horde Pallies get their Seal, first (“on schedule”, so he said), at 64. They get the Alliance one at 70.
Alliance Pallies get their Seals “on schedule”. At 70, they’ll get the Horde one.
They are sectioning off the game so you have to wait for content to be released
Just like they did in Classic? I don’t get it ![]()
There is boosts
1 per account. Cannot be used on Belf nor Draenei. It’s a boost to Level 58 and not 60. You only get one 60% Speed Ground Mount (complimentary) and no Professions.
They are considering dual spec
IDK about that. According to this video (talking about altering drums, but there’s more info other than that that’s important):

In several interviews, Blizzard has indicated they will very likely change the benefits from Leatherworking Drums so players do not feel compelled to have an entire raid of Leatherworkers in TBC raids.
It appears that their “#somechanges” stance is more about balancing out the game and fixing bugs/glitches. As opposed to just adding in QoL features. Duel-Spec doesn’t seem to check any of these boxes.
