Given the high popularity of their twitch streams, I’m inclined to say “Yes, there are plenty of people who still care.”

I don’t, but I’m not going to act like an a-- and pretend that it isn’t a very popular cultural phenomenon that has developed in the community.

And honestly? That’s a good thing. The community NEEDS things to be excited about, to talk about, to share with. Don’t piss in people’s coffee just because it isn’t your cup of tea.

Big Dumb Guild led last time too, then fell behind.

Method mostly is in the middle of the pack on progression, but somehow always clinches victory at the last minute.

I know Method lost CoS. I hope that trend continues, because a HUGE contributing factor to me giving 0 damns about the world first race was that it was just Method every time.

Not that I care that much about it regardless, though.

I enjoy it but not enough where I am going to sit and watch the live stream for hours on end. I have a kitty to feed and pay attention to as well :joy:

Considering there are over 40k viewers between Limit and Method streams now, yes, people care.

I’m not sitting here cheering for anyone, but it’s fun to watch it. It’s something that only comes once every 5 months or so.

I had a server 1st and it was exciting.

Server 1st Anubarak Heroic 10 man back in Wotlk.

It means something to me.

And we almost had 10 man LK server 1st.

So, world 1st would be pretty cool.

Yeah, Method is like the NY Yankees of raiding, they are large corporation (in terms of WoW Esports) that can afford to hire and pay the top players to play all day through sponsors. I’d rather an underdog wins.

I would care, if getting world first would help get me laid. But I don’t think the ladies find this feat to be very attractive.
