I gave up caring about World Firsts when in Cata.

When, after finally getting online from the awful launch issues, into the expansion all of 4 hours I saw ‘World First - Level 85!’.

Who cares at that point.

I don’t care enough to notice who does it but I do think it is funny in a way that the devs spend months creating content that some people have as a goal to beat the day it is released.

Blizzard doesnt even care about WF race there is no trophy or prize for getting it other than, ok cool story, bro.

Hopefully someone other than method will win, but other than that its kinda yawn boring.

THANK YOU! its not a “community driven” event if multi million dollar companies sponsor your team, pay for your hardware and time as long as you win and promote their product.

A REAL community event would be METHOD “with no sponsors” advertising on the forums “hey guys and gals its time to have ourselves a good ole mythic race to get ashara down. Any and all are invited to the challenge. The winners get the world first title and extreme bragging rights inside the COMMUNITY”

Indeed Mossclaw! Seems to be an awful rash of nonsensical envy down there, from a herd of people who have never stepped into a normal raid tier, and spend their time throwing pebbles at mythic raiders who are blissfully unaware of their existence.
