Logitech g600 Question

Is there a way to have the right and left click buttons register immediately? I’ve noticed with mine clicking them often doesn’t do anything until I actually move the mouse and that’s when it will finally register the click (explained better below).

For example, if I click down both the left and right mouse buttons to run forward, often I’ll just be sitting there just moving the cursor around (with both buttons still held down).

Also, I notice it while jump shooting on this new hunter in leveling. I’ll go to do a fancy 180 spin move and nothing will happen when I try and whip my character around mid air while holding down right click…

Maybe I just got a faulty one?

I don’t have the G600 but this doesn’t sound like normal behavior. Have you installed Logitech G Hub yet?

Yeah I have the g hub and have messed with all the side bindings and DPI, but haven’t touched anything with the right and left clicks.

g600 is a dope mouse but the software is terrible. i cant even download g hub anymore because it got stuck on update. i tried to reinstall and it thinks its still on my computer, so i have to use the old logitech gaming software.

i noticed what youre talking about with the right click on beta and now on live after the patch, when i click the pointer stays visible until i move the mouse. it hasnt caused me any issues like it has for you though, just looks weird.

i rarely use mouse buttons to move though, ill test it when i get home

I rebooted and it got better. It still doesn’t “hide” the cursor immediately, but that may be intended. Clicking down both to move seems to be working for now. I haven’t had it fail yet since the reboot knocks on wood

Don’t care what anyone says, Logitech products and their software have always been garbage. You can throw Razor peripherals in the same bin as well.

My g600 has held up well with kids abusing it from time to time slapping it off the desk. The wife replaced her 3rd naga in 2 yrs with a redragon and it feels significantly higher quality than my g600.

I have a g600 and I haven’t noticed any problems. Seems to be something wrong with your bindings or your specific mouse.

I just can’t fathom spending $80 on a mouse and not going with a Corsair Scimitar. Naga’s are notorious for needing constant replacement, and Logitech has had terrible software for as long as I can remember (mid 90’s their sound drivers messed up my entire computer, forced a full reinstall of win95).

What redragon did she get? I was debating between those and this one

None of that is normal, I have had a g600 for 2 years with no issues what so ever. Make sure the driver is up to date and maybe reinstall ghub.

She wanted everything to match and that was what she got use to with her small hands lol.

The logitechs are dirt cheap though. Someone is usually running a deal on them. I think mine was just $20-25 when I bought it.

I like the Naga MMO mouse, but it became hard to justify buying a new one every year. It started feeling like a scam, and I was rewarding them for building less durable products.

:T

Yeah that seems crazy to me because I had the same $20 Microsoft laser mouse for almost 11 years. I can’t fathom how a high end mouse can barely last past 1 year

Thanks, I forgive you for reporting me now.

But for real who’s the malding guy? I don’t follow lore

Your talking about on the front page? That’s the Lich king with his helmet removed, otherwise referred to as Bolvar Fordragon. If you‘ve ever done ICC for xmogs you’ve heard it 1000 times and probably weren’t paying attention to the NPC’s speech.

I haven’t played with sound on in 15 years, aside from cranking it up while watching tv to hear the queues pop :joy:

That’s the last time I ask a lore question because it always leads to another “who??”

:weary:

I use G600, never use ghub bad software, most people i know with the 600 use logitech gaming software 9.02.65 for much more responsive clicks. If you search ghub click delays there are many complaints, and the suggestion has always been to use the other software.
