Login Queue Times

It’s funny to see all of the people who are making fun of the people complaining about the long queue times are people who the queue times are not affecting.

Sad how the “not my problem until it affects me” crowd is the rage nowadays XD

Wait, you seriously believe that? Queues effect almost all of us. You don’t think the majority of the forums is on a mega server as well?

Yeah, because we were smart enough to go where the queue doesn’t affect us.

Duh.

Edit: And we are trying to remind you to make smart choices, like taking FREE transfers so you won’t have a queue anymore either.

We are trying to help you help yourslves.

what queue?

Never seen a queue on my server.

They’ll be complaining when half their raid team can’t log in because they don’t get home from work until well after queue times have started.

I like how you act like it’s or fault for wanting to play on servers with a high population and not Blizzards fault for updating their technology

Unless one can talk their friends into moving too, it’s unreasonable to pretend that’s a simple choice. Be real.

I have seen a handful of, “why dont you leave that sever? I dont have a queue on any of my servers” just this morning

Well, here’s a hint. You arent helpful

They definitely affect me. I just realize they’re a very temporary thing and find something else to do with my life

Right? And the servers they’re offering migration to are a dead pve server and a 99% horde pvp server. Twitter Customer Service took time out to look into tickets and reply to people asking about their afk pvp bans this morning, but has yet to respond to Tweets asking what they’re going to do about this.

I find it interesting to see familiar anti-lfd posters complaining about these queues. Isn’t that what they wanted: to wait? Why play the game when you can just wait to play the game?

Well, it’s safe to assume they’ll be worse at full launch. A lot of us are in serious raiding guild pushing to be running Naxx 25 by week 2. With the hours I work, these queues are cutting my play time in half. I’m a no-lifer, kids grown, happily single WoW Classic addict lol. Nothing else I want to be doing in my free time.

Strawman argument and false equivalency lol.

Nah, just pointing out the usual hypocrisy and inconsistency in their arguments.

There’s a large enough difference between not being able to log into the game at all for 3-5 hours and not minding spending 15 minutes making a group to make that not even remotely hypocricy. Thus it’s a false equivalence.

Dude, forget the que…

Benediction IS going to crash. Nothing is working. The server can’t even hold the allotted amount right now.

This is beyond sad and just a paradox, they have to upgrade servers or force people to transfer, period.

When the entire benediction server is chanting to crash the server, you might have an issue

Another mess signed Blizzard.

Leave a community/friends I’ve been with since classic wow started. I remember reserving my name on grob and playing it the day classic dropped. Why the hell should I take the transfer that’s just stupid and easy for someone to say when they haven’t made friends on they’re server. That’s like saying thanks for your efforts to making this server the way it is so others can enjoy it now leave? No why should the people who have been here and built the community leave. Grob is the way it is because of the people that built it up not because of these transfers looking for a place to go. They need to leave and start building a community up on a different server just as we had to do when classic was released

Some of us rolled on servers and created guilds on launch day, and had a great time not being on a mega server.

Then our server slowly died, people transferred off, and then free transfers became available.

To a mega-server.

So now I have queue times, despite never rolling a fresh character on a “mega” server.

People don’t seem to realize, that with free (not in cost, but unrestricted) character transfers means that literally any server can become a mega-server, if people decide to transfer there. If a twitch streamer or a youtube personality starts up on a medium pop server, and gets a huge following, say hello to queues! Also, this thinking is completely ignorant to the fact that WoW is a team game, and you end up playing where your friends are. I am not going to leave my guild and raid to go to another server, we are stuck here.

This is 100% Blizzard’s fault for not preparing for this when they consolidated servers during the middle of TBC, they also have not given any incentive for people to x-fer to low pop servers. My guild basically died on Kromcrush until they opened up xfers to Faerlina. We were forced to move, voted as a guild to move to Faerlina, and lost a lot of friends along the way.

This, simply put, sucks. And anyone saying “make better choices” is being unhelpful and overall cruddy as a person.

Some of us didn’t choose to go to megaservers, we were forced to. Hell, there were medium pop servers that got forced into being megaservers through transfers.

I really hope they do something to fix this, because this is really screwing up our raiding schedule right now, which is OK for now, because this is “for fun” raiding to prep for WOTLK, come actual Naxx raiding, if this is still the case, expect a lot of broken guilds and people quitting the game.
