wtf lmaooo
People DDoSing now because ques are too long, and Blizzard wont remove Botting from Wow, they could, but dont.
yupp… was down to 66mins in que and it kicked me out
The bots are half of blizzards subs. No way they do anything about it. They banned all bots for like a day and that’s when bene and faerlina had no queues.
was questing, got dc’ed and this “Logging in to game server” happened.
Now i am on a 6k queue
Thx blizz
Same. Pretty awesome…
Happened to me and I eventually got in with 2700 player queue. I can’t imagine how much it goes up every minute that passes.
Took the day off and woke up early to get some questing in. Enjoying my morning questing, get randomly dc’d, stuck at “logging into game server”, now in a “15” min queue that hsnt gone down but 7k people ahead of me and its going down extremely slow.
Thanks blizz.
I have a hard time believing that a multi-million dollar company that once handled 12 million players has no DDoS protection or is this affected by maybe ~200k Classic players
Estimated time has gone up to 26 min but this is easily a 2-3 hour queue with the rate at which the position in queue is going down. Such bullsh*t.
what else could explain?
They told us that they cant make server afford more people because of “server stability”.
Now that happens. Such nice “server stability”
it is around 1000~1200 people /hr.
I think that Activision Blizzard is trying to get away with using the bare minimum hardware. They feel that after the failure of SoM and how they got away with the current hardware for most of Classic and TBC, that it’s not worth investing money into WoW Classic anymore and that people should be forced to spread out onto the servers they have already instead of them upgrading the bigger servers to handle more players.
With limited specs on a server, once you hit the RAM cap for example, the server generally kills the program and disconnects. For them they feel like they /could/ upgrade that hardware, but probably feel like it’s better to just make players turn away from the game by dealing with queues to not have to do that, based on I assume, the assumption that the playerbase would drop to what the hardware can handle without upgrades anyway.
It’s really just them being cheap. Anyone who has experience managing servers knows that the “we cant solve this with hardware” excuse is a lie.
I was in the game leveling, got dc’d and was stuck on logging into game server. Finally connected just to be thrown into que…
I was in game questing with a friend. I got DC’d along with what appeared to be half of Benediction. Try to log back in and get stuck with logging into game server 10 minutes later get into que and have hours until I might be able to play again. Friend stayed online the entire time. I am really glad that I paid Blizzard twice for transfers to servers to get to a server they allowed me to go to that they cannot maintain. We are paying for what appears to be horrible customer service at this point and its unacceptable. Its not okay to tell your customers after they paid for server transfers to Benediction, to then state that the server is way way over populated and that your entire guild and friends need to move. Fix your servers please.
I finally connected after sitting in a 6k player que AFTER I was in game and dc’d to sit in que. I finally connected after the que, dc’d had the SAME issue and now I am sitting in a 14,000 player que. I have spent the entire day staring at a que screen. The only option? Transfer to a server with a population of 60 people or transfer to a pve server. WTF is this.
