Lockpicking busted?

My lvl 90 rogue can no longer lockpick the Ghost Iron Lockboxes I sent her last night.
Skill level shows orange, but nothing happens when trying to pick.

I’m having the same issue. Disabled all addons and it simply doesn’t work when you try to click.

Lockpicking is broken for me as well.

Cant lockpick the new Vine Cracked Junkboxes either. L90 Rogue.

It says when your sign the lockpick icon and said it can open up to 450 skill points lockboxes, but WAIT, the 450 lockboxes are the same as the Northend lockboxes. That means we can’t even open the Cataclysm lockboxes. There’s a confusion or bug because it’s giving skill points as if our rogue is in WotLK.

This rogue issue needs to be fixed.

since update lots of LUA errors and bugs game is broken they need to hotfix it

I as well cannot open lockboxes on my 90 rogue that I could previously. My character is still on Atiesh. Someone whose rogue is on Lei Shen told me they are able to open lockboxes just fine.

Move away from the mailbox if you’re near one, but that bug has been in for awhile.

it’s not just a rogue issue. The engineers locksmiths powderkeg is also broken and im assuming the blacksmithing equivalent is as well.

right now you can’t open any locked box from your inventory
BUT
you can open any locked box if it’s in the “will not be traded window”
i just tested that

I can’t seem to unlock any locked boxes in my inventory with or with out any add-ons.

Rogues can’t open lockboxes, and a blacksmith can’t open them either with their keys. :roll_eyes:

as i said!

so find another rogue to open your box’s and it will be unlocked just fine.
if u have 2x accounts u can open ur own box’s :stuck_out_tongue:

Same for me; just reached 90 level and unable to unlock lockboxes even though they are orange for me.

I posted this already in the bug report thread, but I did this between my two accounts and it worked just fine. As my guildie said “just needed a second set of hands to hold it while working the lock”.

Obnoxious but at least there’s a method that works for now.

I’M NOT INTERESTED IN PROFESSIONS, it’s a rogue skill. OMG.

Now they’re not even 450 lockboxes, they’re just any kind, like the Outlands. I mean, we have a useless skill, and it won’t always be the case that we have those professions, like in my case, Leatherworking.

I mean, besides being bugged, it’s crashed, so don’t look for reasons for Blizzard not to do YOUR JOB.

And BLIZZARD NEEDS THIS TO BE FIXED once and for all. It can’t be that an OFFICIAL server is operating as if it were a pirate server, like a certain WotLK pirate server, where Blood DKs couldn’t use the Dancing Rune weapon talent at the whim of Frost DKs, so they wouldn’t use that spec as DPS.

Or is it just in vain that they’re shutting down those servers out of greed?
