Live chat unavailable to click in

Has any one access live chat successfully recently?
Had a issue but web ticket GMs required me to contact via live chat , but live chat for me has been unavilable for weeks.
Within service hours of 5am PDT to 3pm PDT , the live chat button apperas but unclickable.
Any one also coming up with this issue?

Few things

First have you tried another browser? Disabled all pop up blockers, anti virus etc? Sometimes other software can stop it

Also, live chat can be pulled down even in hours due to the volume of people.

Lastly, if live chat is out, perhaps a callback would work onstead?

I love how they say 24/7 support when it’s really like some day at some time we might try. We pay for service, it’s a supply and demand problem fix it …

Web tickets are answered around the clock. This is different than chat.

I think a lot of work is still from home, but billing issues usually require more secure access, so is limited to what I believe is in office.

That’s really two separate issues, Pkkzyo.

Webchat is open as often as possible - and those are the normal hours…when available.

Now, it being present and grayed out is a totally different discussion. That is usually because the functionality is being blocked. Lots of things can block it.

Security software, popup blockers, security settings…even other software that uses overlays can sometimes cause issues. If you see Live Chat next to Web Tickets - you should be able to access it. If it is present but grayed out, that’s another issue.

Correct. GM’s answer tickets across all Blizzard games in shifts that span 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

That does not mean a GM is always available to handle your personal issue immediately. There are other people in line ahead of you. It also does not mean every possible avenue of support is staffed 24/7.

It’s really like when others ahead of you are taken care of, then it’s your turn. Just like in every other area of life.

You pay for access to the realms, and that’s it.

No, we pay for realm access and to play characters above level 20.

GM teams do work 24/7 though.

Ok, so they interview, hire and train more GM’s. Do you have any idea how long that takes? (hint, longer than you think). By the time they’re competently trained and ready, the ticket demand (caused mostly by the recent patch) is over - now what?

“Fix it” the catch cry of the entitled.
