What gives? After all that fuss about accessibility and how it would be nice to just fly the mounts you’re so proud of… So far literally nobody in any of the high pop zones in DF on my server is going normal except me with my druid’s class flight form.
Edit: Dear trolls who think I’m using ‘literally’ incorrectly, allow me to educate you with the 4th definition of the word per the American Heritage Dictionary:
“Used as an intensive before a figurative expression.”
Dynamic is just faster
Dragonriding is far superior to that of normal flying.

Turns out it wasn’t really a silent majority, I guess.
I use it when I need to make frequent stops. But for a longer, more straightforward flight, dragon riding is just faster.
I can only speak for myself, and I like dragonflying
I use normal flight for small hops or to find areas that are higher then I am, when I don’t have the vigor to climb due to trying to find it.
I used it when I was logged in Yesterday. I didn’t see you in the zone though.
It can be useful for treasures/bags that are on top of tree branches and hard to find.
I use it often when I want to gather scout packs, herb/mine, or fly around Valdrakken and the shrine. I don’t understand why they stubbornly refused to release it before now. I still use dragon riding because getting from one place to another on a regular flying mount takes way too long.
Stop talking in absolutes.
I’ve seen people ‘normal flying’.
Dragon riding is just the big thing so it’s obvious you’ll see it ''dominate?" the proverbial landscape.
I mostly see people dragonriding too. The only exceptions I have seen were the Druids in their new flight form, and I can’t really blame them. That owl looks amazing.
That said, I am glad they added it for the few that use it. If they want to use a slower flight system for whatever reason, I say more power to em. As long as I get to keep my dynamic flight, then I say let others play how they like. 
I saw someone doing normal flight. I literally circled around them at least 12 times before they got to the same place I was going at 1/8th of the speed. People don’t realize how big the Dragon Isles are until they try old flight.
Dynamic Flight is better. It just is.

It’s amazing how much more I appreciate the zone when normally flying …
I use my standard mounts in the ED whenever I want, or feel inclined to. If I am in a area where the big tree and the roots obscure the way, I will use a smaller standard mount for easier manouvering. If I need to get somewhere further away fast, I will use dragonriding. It gives me options and it allows my hands to rest from the constant pressure of using dynamic flight.
“Literally” somebody is using standing flying.
