Complainers need to complain about something. FOTM just happened to be normal vs dynamic flying.

I just use it whenever I run out of vigor. It’s easy to do normal flying in Valdrakken or briefly to get to a hard-to-reach area but not for long-distance travel.

dragonflying is more fun. I use normal during superbloom though on my druid to get to the clickies in flight form

I mean it’s not so much that it’s the “big thing” as much as it is objectively the better way to get from point A to point B.
I have used static a few times to reach stuff in trees though, and it’s incredibly useful for my druid obviously.

I’d use it to hover in muh safe space in warmode… if I had it unlocked.
It requires the zaralek cavern campaign to be completed. I’m far from it and can’t be bothered.

Totally use it. Especially Druid Flight Form. There are times you want the Porsche and some times you want the beater Honda.

I use it a lot. If it was as fast as dragonriding I’d never touch the dragon again. I had assumed normal flying would be 830% like dragonriding and am a bit disappointed.

Normal flying has its uses, for sure. Dynamic flying is just over all better.

I’m using it but as others have said, dragon flying is much faster. That 300% feels more like 100%, especially when trying to get to that rare that just popped up clear across the map.

I use it when a precision landing is required for loot items in trees or whatever.
Any way, “nobody,” pfft. As if you’re everywhere seeing everything.

That was pretty much going to be my reply.
HOWEVER! People should be able to use their flying mounts irrelevant to which transport is best. Remember, people spend money in the store on flying mounts, do endless content to collect flying mounts, they should be able to use them as they please. Sometimes you need to see it from a different perspective.
Regular flying should have never been restricted any where in the game. It has been a core part of the game since burning crusade.
Implementing an alternative flying is fine, but to ignore what we had before is incompetent.
