Literally 3/4 players want LFD

They are just story mode in Retail. Mythic dungeons and raids are the real end game.

Blizzard did it to cut into the action themselves. They let RMT/Botting go rampant with their ban waves rather than instant bans that they decided to just get involved as the community began to tolerate it.

There is always the option to get better. If you can’t get better watch a video. Should we add LFR for Wrath Classic?

Are you okay with this coming into Classic?

It’s not always about “better” some people just don’t have the time.

And no, we shouldn’t add things that weren’t there, just like we shouldn’t take away things that were.

I know, right at the end of WoD. Freehold boosts wouldn’t have been popular at all of you couldn’t get insta gold legally. Things just took off from there.

Most polls I’ve seen have it about 60% and 15% don’t care and 25% are against. No I don’t have exact but I think Willie metagoblin and scottejaye all have similar polls.

So bring in world scaling instead of a system that existed in Wrath to try and fix a problem that the system in Wrath fixed.

Okay.

It’s almost like designing dungeons around 2-3 CC then sticking them in a group finder that routinely formed groups that didn’t meet that was a bad idea…

Than a game designed around putting the time in just isn’t for them. The game shouldn’t accommodate everyone’s play time. It’s not a phone game.

And that’s how a game fails. The game is struggling right now because they’re not taking care of the casual playerbase.

CR LFD was for dead servers. It didn’t fix the core problem which was the dead server populations. They just swept the problem under the rug along with the community.

If they brought back Ranged survial hunters and made scaling optional I’d even consider trying whatever the next expansion is.
*played MMO since EQ launched and tried a ton of MMO games, and I HATE scaling some games to it better than others, but so far blizzards is the worse I’ve ever seen.

It let players actually do the bulk of the content on their server. LFR helped with the raid aspect, too.

Scaling won’t fix anything.

Game fails because it isn’t appealing to LFR casual players? Good riddance.

any game that you’ve played 100+ times starts to become boring. this isn’t exclusive to wow. it’s called mind numbing repetition.

Should always be optional. I think the whole Cataclysm old world going bye bye was an awful decision.

As if the dialogue is going to change by then…

It’s going to be the same thing.

People will whine they just want Cata to be Cata, and that LFR was a major part of their experience, and so on.

Where do you land on it?

Casuals are most of any mmo’s playerbase.

I say this as a raider, we’d have nothing without casuals.

Sitting in a lobby. Sitting in a different lobby. Bulk of gameplay is spent in queue for a lobby. lawl.

Why won’t scaling fix anything? Making a statement without anything to back it up is getting boring.

Scaling is frowned upon by some communities as it strips away meaningful progression.

The “solo experience” will exist regardless of LFD. Its just that with LFD, i have the option of doing dungeons in addition to questing from 1-60 as opposed to essentially just questing.

If we want to remove cross realm dependancy to support low level group content, what we need is an influx of new players that start at level 1… which is killed by both the paid boost and mage/paladin boosting services.

Those aren’t the casuals of WoW. Those are the tourists who spend 1-2 hours at best a week and expect to see everything without trying. Those are lazy phone gamers.
