28k is roughly 14% of 200k, and a Sample Size is generally taken of 10% of a population. meaning that said poll is well within the rights of being called a sample size.
Generally speaking you don’t even need more than 1k
So long as you realize you’re the one advocating for the change, and not the people wanting LFD.
Trying to push the myth of utopia when it’s clear it cannot exist is folly. We’ve had several years of no-LFD, and the community is terrible.
I’m the one arguing semantics though.
Gotcha.
i think they should add it in during icc. it sounds like were gonna get the retail tool so it prob wont be too bad
Which last we heard they were still asking for feedback on.
and the community is terrible.
I wouldn’t say terrible, but it’s not some social Utopia, most dungeons amount to zero communication beyond “whoops sorry”
but how many quarters was RDF in the game before sub’s started to drop (was 2Q cata) 4Q’s total with it in (that “Last patch” had several major sub patches and lasted 3Q’s of no drop with RDF and then 2Q into the new expansion it started dropping subs never dropped at the end of wrath when people claimed there was a content drought.
Oh and He said it came in at 3.3.5 not 3.3.0
Even in these forums on the poll of “what made retail the way it is” LFD is super far down there.

That community is also filled with other degenerate activities such as GDKP + Boosting. The start of servers is usually the best time to play and then it descends to the RMT/Botting nightmare where profiteers try to enrich themselves. It’s a massive problem and you could also make the claim Vanilla/TBC weren’t handled well in regards to faction balance and server population. All of which lands on Blizzard to actually do something but, they’re not doing much except salivating for the new cash shop opportunity for Classic WoW.

It depends on server, but for the most part there is no socializing nor, “amazing experiences” sending a whisper of, “inv” when you browse LFG.

Something to point out is that despite the longest content drought in WoW’s history, the subs stayed relatively consistent in the final patch of ICC. LFD being there could very well have been a contributing factor.
sure there is tons of reasons retail is such a flop for some, most of mine go to the changes made in legion (WOD was my last retail play of an expansion other than few short month in BFA that was a waste (friend pulled me in and both uninstalled before the subs ran all the way out).
Spell batching was based af in classic
Like that player I turned down last night for 2s, your vanilla way of doing things leave players behind or unable to access content.
Why can’t I run a dungeon with Zaalg just because we are in different servers?
This is why we need a Wrath section so we don’t have to post about it here in TBC

It was like the third longest.
If you go last major patch to expansion
Wrath: Dec 2009 to Dec 2010, 12 months
MoP: September 2013 to November 2014, 14 months
WoD: June 2015 to August 2016, 14 months

because you are on different servers
We’re all WoW players.
If you go last major patch to expansion
you are not counting RS as a patch are you?
but how many quarters was RDF in the game before sub’s
Like only one or two.
3.3.0 was peak WoW.

You haven’t been on these forums very long then.
That’s the thing that comes up the most when people talk about “What made Retail decline.”
They’ve been posting like that for years.
