List of things the elitists took from us:

In a way, I would rather have a power which remains pertinent over the entirety of an expansion, borrowed power if you will, rather than completely re-gearing with each new season.

It could be any class added. The point still remains that useless borrowed power systems have been a waste of resources.

Yeah I was wrong there and only thinking about the item level, not the gear track. Champ would still get you to 619 but not make the high end players feel like they need to fill those vault slots for hero gear choices. My bad.

That was never the case by design. It was announced with hero track as the top end.

But they are, the balance is actually about right with delves. High skill cap players finish them easy, the other 90% have to be strategic with it.

Was awful. I am a casual player, and I hated torghast. Unrewarding content meant for nothing but the legendary grind.

Borrowed power has never been fun. That’s not elitist or casual.

It’s a troll post. They haven’t responded since posting. Let’s all stop feeding the moron.

Nah it would have to be:

Legendary Cloak Questchain in Mists:
Challenge Mode Items in Mists and Warlords:
Vale of Enteral Blossoms Mogu Questchain before ruined Vale:
Crusader Horses in Wrath:
Wrath Gate Undercity in Wrath:
Artifact Mage Tower Weapons in Legion:
Endgame Mounts from all expansions starting with Mists up to now:
So on.

Pretty sure I’m missing a pen.

Lost me at those last two.

OP said in another topic that picking up health potions that Brann tosses on the ground is for 1%ers.

Knew not to take anything they say seriously anymore. :joy:

I shouldn’t have even responded. It’s always a massive red flag when someone says the worlds dumbest garbage, and then ghosts their own thread.

Fun. I’m not saying it isn’t fun now, I just think a large amount of fun went away with BiS before the expansion comes out.

Respectfully, I troll at an elite level.

  • Mission tables were Farmville busywork.
  • World mobs should get weaker as we get more powerful, as should all mobs within a specific difficulty band everyone has access to.
  • Torghast was a RNG clownfiesta. Either you got the small set of anima powers for your class that utterly trivialized your run, or it was a massive boring slog. The fact that it was a weekly chore for every alt sucked too.
  • We still have borrowed power - set bonuses within a tier, and hero talents for the expansion as a whole. Both will get reset/reworked when Midnight rolls around.

About the only thing on your list remotely related to “elites” is Delves that drop mythic loot, and even then, all they’re doing is making it so Delves aren’t more rewarding than coordinated group content. That’s a good thing - Delves can be rewarding and worthwhile without them supplanting M+.
