List of great female characters abandoned for promoting Sylvanas

Feels bad when you’ve got a great roster of female characters and you choose to promote the one who pretends to be intelligent but turns out to be the worst when it comes to being a blind follower of the jailer.

Imagine not yeeting and deleting Sylvanas after destroying her character. Now we have to put up with a war criminal’s redemption arc because she feels sorry for herself. Poor Arthas and many other undead didn’t get even 5% of what she’s getting.

Here are some of the characters on vacation who are so much better than Sylvanas Windrunner when it comes to consistency and intelligence:

Talanji
Mayla Highmountain
Thalyssra
Lady Liadrin
Vanessa Vancleef
Tyrande (Yeeted and deleted by Elune herself)

it will be the ultimate insult if sylvanas is allowed back on azeroth, or on horde lands. She does not deserve to be there

I’ve yet to see an iconic Female Draenei character that properly represents them.

Yrel doesn’t count who went from slave to exarch from a blink of an eye and forgets that Grom killed her sister. (Sloppy writing, ugh)
Xyrella doesn’t count either. Hearthstone heroes aren’t canon. :L

she works for the uncrowned. Roll a rogue and you can see her at order hall.

There is Captain Fareeya but like not sure she is a good representation either.

The other good one could be Priestress Ishanah

Oh yea, I completely forgot about Fareeya existed! I’ve seen her for about pretty much 5 minutes.

This one is… probably my favorite.

Too bad she’s not a… y’know… Do more? I don’t know how to describe it.

Talanji, Mayla, and Thalyssra had big roles in the big. They haven’t been abandoned, much like Alleria, Genn, and Turalyon, story wise they are staying back to ensure that we have a horde to go back to.

All the leaders of the horde disappearing into the shadowlands would be bad.

We’re also one expansion away from Talanji being set up as queen and having an empire to fix/clean up after the war. I’m kind of glad to have a break from her, and not having to hear Mayla’s voice.

Leaving aside the limitation of female characters that was suggested in the initial post, WoW has a stupidly large amount of charismatic characters that they never do anything with, completely forgotten.

I also remember Exarch Naielle which is also… I mean she’s also not “in your face” like Yrel but she’s also not doing much.

I also remember Soulbinder Tuulani. She’s probably the cutest. But she’s far too obsessed with Auchindoun’s defenses for me to even like her, let alone do anything more than that.

The issue with these is they are mostly WoD only character which is a bit sad. So they are not really the best representation of the race itself. Cause these 2 character actuualy died in the real time if it werent for us coming in the portal.
