Limited amount of forum reports per 24hr?

The ToS violations that I see, in Trade Channels, Forum Threads, w/e is repulsive. And yet, when the newkid comes out and starts speaking on it.

“I saw a guy get murdered, and then got in trouble for stealing. Why is that fair when no one else saw the murder and caught that guy?”

That’s what you’re saying, and your topics weren’t just asking why those guys get away with it. It was why you’re in trouble when you don’t see them in trouble. It was you complaining and arguing about your violation getting a penalty. Which as the blue has made clear, is a CoC violation.

I mean, The OP is basically asking the most reasonable question; “Why am I only allowed to dial 911 for life/death not a parking violation?”

No one said that though. They said that there is a reason for the limit because people were reporting everything, including non-violations, and mudding the Moderation review pool. So this is to encourage judicuos use of report for only actual violations. Not ignoring minor violations for only bigger ones. They were also directed to the right place for suggestions.

I disagree, because then those that broke the forum guidelines in said thread are not actioned and the thread alone just gets removed and the behavior isn’t resolved.

You aren’t privy to what happens during moderation. I’ve had blues comment that they’ve put the time into parsing though disaster threads and deal with the participants, not the just OP.

I didn’t ask for more ‘flags’, I questioned a decision that greatly effects every customer that posts on these forums and explained why that is an issue that is currently effecting me and posted here in hopes of a resolution to said issue.

That is not how you presented it. You title asked the question “LIMITED AMOUNT OF FORUM REPORTS PER 24HR?”, followed by you criticizing the system that you don’t have enough flags to report who you want. What resolution were you seeking if not more chances to report?

And again, you provide suggestions/feedback, in the proper location, and move on. There’s no posting for immediate resolution in a suggestion/feedback system.

Somewhere else to send the reports. Like an e-mail, or posting here, or something else. If I knew what the resolution was, would I be asking? Don’t belittle me by stating that I don’t post things in the proper locations, because if that was true this thread would have been moved

I did run out, it tells me I have to wait 23 hours to report another post.

You do have the option to remove one of your existing flags to use elsewhere.

I already know reports work in the way of 1 report often does nothing but more and more of them will actually get an action taken.

You’re mistaken. One report is all it takes.

If 1 report was all it takes, then it would already be taken care of; no? Clearly that isn’t the case.

Or as Lev would say, “You’re not privvy to that information to know if 1 report is all it takes.”

The ToS violations that I see, in Trade Channels, Forum Threads, w/e is repulsive. And yet, when the newkid comes out and starts speaking on it. All the sudden he’s slapped in the face with a silence, and a “no contest” it just is.

However, being lost in the new changes to the game does not justify the type of comments made from your account since you’ve returned.

Like I said, “Everyone else is doing it” really is no excuse for the type of comments you made. If you see people violating the rules, you report them for it you don’t join in. It’s very easy to avoid getting in trouble in WOW, whether you’ve been playing for months, days, or just minutes.

Since this thread has moved from a request into general discussion about how moderation works, I’m going to go ahead and close it. If you see a post that violates the forums code of conduct, and you have the ability to do so then flag it. If the post is a violation, and you are out of flags for the day you can bookmark it to check back later when your flags have refreshed.
