Can someone confirm that?

found it.

Also didn’t blizzard say at the beginning that any guilds caught doing that for warfronts would be ineligible for world first race? (can someone confirm I can’t find their statements of that so i could be misinformed)
so are they sticking to that with limit if that is true?

Uh…Blizz stated in no uncertain terms that they did not support the world first race. That it was not an official or supported thing.
Perhaps you are meaning the hall of fame achievement? I can’t find anything where they talk about preventing you from getting it after a faction transfer, but I did not look all that long.
Would be most interested if you can find links/posts to such statements.

Blizz just made a crap ton of money, why would they care?

i dont’ have links i was hoping people could find them for me.
we were talking about it in discord during guild raid someone said blizzard would ban them from world first but with the hall of fame maybe it was that.
and it’s not just a faction transfer. its a transfer BACK to horde after the cooldown ends for faction swapping. So they will get the warfront quest twice but the alliance quest once.
A drop in the bucket for that server and run sells. Now check out sponsor money and Ads on their twitter page. How do you think Blizzard operates ? The world is a big place filled with even stupider people throwing money away.

Remove the ability to faction change. would also love it if they reverted all toons that have changed to their original faction and issue refunds to those that have
I do recall Blizzard stating that faction changes would invalidate a guild from their Hall of Fame records, yes.
But most guilds don’t care about that, they care about the World First race.

so they would potentially get world first but not the title?
that’s giving up quite a bit but they could probably get it on other accounts after they get world first.
Oh yes sweet, sweet world first race drama

Why do you care what some other customers, of the subscription service, do?

are you new? world first race is a big deal and getting DQ’ed from the hall of fame in exchange for world first would be something spectacular indeed.
Any top guild faction changing even for a week in the world first race is a big deal.
there was a chinese guild a while back pushing world rankings and they would server transfer their characters to snipe black market mythic/heroic gear from current tier on servers where the items would spawn on the black market and they were removed from the rankings.
To who?
An infinitesimally tiny fragment of a tiny fragment of the player base. A portion of a portion.
I barely remember the world firsts past the one in Wrath of the Lich King.

If they win, they’ll be hyped as beating method. I dont think they care about titles or achievements. If they lose…then lmfao.
for you perhaps… for me another bait for people to donate to people that’s already rich, with sponsors, real life money carries and rl work.

This sort of behavior can only be called “Pay to win” and Blizzard needs to react to it, because it’ll otherwise ruin the integrity of their game. It’s not just Limit, it’s personal friends of mine.
Faction balance in Warmode would be a good thing. The Alliance on NA realms historically has less interest in PvP than Horde. It’s okay to give them an additional incentive to step into Warmode, but it shouldn’t be so powerful that it coaxes a mass migration of characters from one faction to another. (Just like racials.)
That just communicates Blizzard is purposefully giving one side an overwhelming advantage and suggests they’re doing it for monetary gain.

and sadly they are going to do it again once this clears up and the new troll racials are released as the strongest racials to date and then they all pay to xfer back to horde again, sounds like their M.O. to me as of lately

Considering that if they ever leave the guild they lose the Hall of Fame title and achievement(iirc) they probably don’t care about it at all.
P.S. Not caring about the world first race does not make you superior to people who do. The fact is at least two of Method’s raiders were able to quit their jobs and become full time streamers after the Uldir WF race so there’s quite a bit at stake here, whether you think so or not.
