If they win which they won’t … It will be due to the handicap method deals with now between being a day behind and Limit watching their streams…
In terms of world first Limit is a joke and all their moves show their just desperate and will be funny when they did all that try hardin to just fail and be in 2nd again
Worlds 1st, 2nd, 20th, who cares?
WoW raiding hasn’t been relevant in years.

Why do you care what some other customers, of the subscription service, do?
That’s basically the same as saying “Why do you care if Lance Armstrong won all of those races because he was juiced up?”. It is a competitive “sport”. The logic of some people makes me lose faith in humanity.
Yeah, a crapton of imaginary money. Well played Blizzard. Solid tactics.
Hall of fame achieves require you to be on the server for 30 days. To prevent things like what happened in vanilla for ppl moving to different servers for scarab lord.
However, limit said they don’t care about them achievements and only have world first in their sights.

I can’t remember any guild’s name who have done world first since the game’s inception with the exception of Method, and that’s because they’re on wowhead’s front page every other day. I think I have slightly better priorities than wow to remember or care. Can’t imagine it’s a big deal to most who don’t even visit or post on the forums, which is 99% of the playerbase.

You do realize that all the tolkens that gold was used to buy was backed by a $20 bill right?

I’ve been a bit confused about that situation, I’m pretty sure no money was spent for their whole transfer - as others have stated, They prob had millions of gold stocked up already from selling runs and such - but i could be wrong, maybe some cash was involved, and if so that’s pretty sad all for a virtual piece of gear and greed
Yes. But to make the transfers they had to buy tokens off the auction house and convert them to battle net ballance. Every one of the tokens they bought had to have been perchaced by some one else for 20 real world dollars and put on the auction house. And since a token only converts to $15 Bnet ballance Blizz walked away with even more money than if they had bought the transfers with real money.
Plus with all those tokens being bought on the AH at once it would have spiked the gold price, which would have caused even more people to buy tokens to list on the AH. Blizz made out like bandits from this.
So Blizzard made money they already had anyway from Limit buying WoW tokens off the auction house.
Yes, that makes total sense.
Probably all part of their plan, judging by the many things they’ve done in the past like making one side of racials stronger in PvP, causing a mass transfer, etc
Unless they changed it recently, there is a cooldown on xfers, of about a month. So I don’t think that would work for them
The cool down is three days.
Blizzard said that arathi warfront gear that horde got ahead of alliance didn’t matter so I really doubt they are going to make someone ineligible for the world first race for doing it this time.
This actually fits the narrative I thought of like 2-3 weeks ago, that Blizzard is playing the long game with this and is trying to get more players back Alliance side long term.
So assuming this is proof that a long game is actually working I wouldn’t expect changes any time soon. Which is good for me because my friends are now talking about transferring Horde and I’d rather not run through the Class Order Campaign on a new Horde paladin just to make sure I get the “Highlord” title, and the other random assortment of needs (Kirin Tor = friendly, Highlord mounts, ect).
Should be 30… it’s 15 days to undelete a toon. Who would need to bounce back and forth between factions every 3 days unless they were trying to game the system somehow?
Yea thats what i’ve been thinking with all these posts about this transfer to and back, i’m pretty sure theres a large delay before you can straight up transfer again unless Blizzard for some reason removed this cause you know $$$.
Blizzard has never supported the world fist stuff, that is all player driven. If Blizzard was seriously concerned about this type of activity, they would make the cool down for faction transfer long enough that people couldn’t just back and forth in a week’s time. Instead add a 30 day cool down to the character and no one would be doing this kind of stuff.
There is a three day delay.
Completing a faction change will prevent you from changing the character’s faction, race, or realm again for 72 hours.
