I logged on an alt today and noticed I had mail. Checked the mail and got WoW’s 15th Anniversary gift. I thought how nice it was of them to send me a gift and then greedily opened it. What a nice gift it was with the Lil’ Nefarian Battle Pet enclosed. Then I logged off and logged in another toon.
The next toon’s gift was the same with the exception that the Lil’ Nefarian battle pet was not included, and I was glad of that; I remember all too well how those additional pets of years ago could not be learned after the first one was added to my pet collection and all that could be done with it was to stash it away or delete it. Thank you Blizzard for the account-wide items! One of the best ideas ever.
But wait! What’s this?! Lil’ Nefarian is only available to the first toon that opens WoW’s 15th Anniversary gift?!?! Why not have it account-wide like all the other pets in my Battle Pet Collection???
I am hoping this “Unique” gift was in error and that it was intended to be the usual account-wide item. If not, I consider it in very poor taste and wonder if whoever is responsible for its inclusion is attempting to sabotage the goodwill of WoW subscribers. It is certainly not going to make anyone very happy.
