Far too late to save them from her, sadly.
Second movie was awful and I didn’t even have the slightest desire to see the third one.

So, I was pretty vague in my title and even in my first post because I really didn’t want to cause any flame wars or yet another thread of negativity. To the person who told me my bar was too high for hoping to avoid those things: nope! Days afterwards, people are still having mature, relevant discussions! And some people who read my original post are still answering me on their thoughts about what I asked. I was genuinely surprised to come back and find this thread still going.
I really appreciate all of you and your opinions… thank you! I am learning quite a bit!
Robert Heinlein, Dick Francis, Nelson DeMille, and Robert Ludlum just to name a few. My list of favorite authors is far too long to post here.
Juno Dawson is terrible.
William Faulkner is overrated.
I’ll never forgive him for that absolute travesty that is Absalom Absalom.
You ever read a sentence that’s several pages long? One single sentence.
He has a record in Guiness, 1288 word long run-on sentence.
I gave up hating a long, long time ago. Hating requires too much energy and is exhausting. I might dislike something. If I do, I simply ignore it and move one.
Not enough love in the world. Take care and see ya later.
Rowling seemed to have been making bizarre hints what with her having Grindelwald say “Shall we die but a little?” implying that he made a Horcrux and was prepared for Voldemort’s arrival(he has a special sight that allows him to see the future according to Rowling).
Now it seems as Grindelwald did have the necessary remorse to repair his Soul when Voldemort killed him after all.
Did Grindelwald originally plan to make a Horcrux to prevent Voldemort from killing him(which he saw in a Vision yet probably did not understand until the moment it happened) only for the event that led to his Blood Pact being destroyed to fill his Soul with such remorse for his broken bond with Dumbledore that in the end he welcomed death in order to atone for his crimes?
So for interesting developments for the Fantastic Beasts Films we have:
Surely the 4th Film will reveal Grindelwald’s scrapped plan for the Horcrux but the 5th Film needs a Plot Twist that throws a curve ball at the story even as the 6th Film wraps Grindelwald’s Story up.
Knaak is pretty terrible. He is directly responsible for that moron Rhonin and his army of raptors. Among his other moments in terrible writing is his constant insistance of making Nozdormu sssssnake talk, Ysera as played by a narcoleptic ditz, and Malygos’s insanity is literally written on the level of an edgy teenager trying to depict madness.
Also someone get the man a thesaurus. The dude literally refers to dragons as “leviathans” in about every other descriptor of a dragon. And this isn’t restricted to Warcraft. Someone let this dude write for Dragonlance and it’s about as bad as you’d think.
Yeah, the Tolkien family and their patriarch are prime examples of snobbish and posh Brits.
Yea someone started the rumor that Tolkien invented fantasy… his own estate began to back up the claim.
I like Golden’s Star Wars EU books, and ARTHAS was pretty good.
