Lightning Shield, what the hell were they thinking?

Literally have your combat log with timestamps open, open your character sheet and mouse over the gear, and inspect the rogue and mouse over his gear.

Holy crap.

You struggle to tie your shoes in the morning don’t you?

I thought it would be easier to just show a rogue deleting a shaman in 3 seconds to disprove all this nonsense. I guess you need the exact numbers to finally believe it, we can do another huge maths essay this evening my friend, put your calculator back in your pants.

Question: what if I find a rogue who’s got better gear than you? Will that be another reason for you to cry foul and say it’s unrealistic or? Should I just get somebody who’s got the exact same gear as you, and just auto attacks themselves to death so the video works in your favor? I’m just taking notes so I know how to avoid talking with you further after I post more.

Imagine thinking a Rogue is anywhere near a Shaman currently

Rogue players tend to have rather inflexible mindsets. The fact Ravenblade did not reassess the situation demonstrates far more than anything else.

As a warrior player who has had to memorize a variety of openers for different classes instead of just doing the same CC train every time, I can’t help but grin.

…by hiding all relevant information? Cool.

Post a video of you stomping Alliance in Redridge to showcase your PvP skills. Maybe set it to something classic like Drowning Pool with lots of bad jump-cuts and unformatted text just slapped on the screen from time to time.

Notice how no one said anything about unrealistic and only called you out for the clown-tier video hiding everything.

They aren’t. It also was a mistake Class fantasy wise to try and make Rogues something they are not. Rogues should be squishy and rely on the shadows. While Shamans were a class that is a natural Tank and fills that fantasy.

Do you routinely just auto attack people in PvP? That’s the only scenario in which your story holds water. Try mutilate out and something other than SnD for a combo point spender.

This is the problem, he can’t play his class lol.

that’s a thief or ninja, not rogue. Rogue is a slippery rascal who uses dishonest means to win. They should be at disadvantages when engaging in a fair and square fight, but there is nowhere indicating that rogue must be “squishy”.

yeah, and the shaman didn’t have 1 min mental agility buff for 100% more lightnight shield dmg.

Why would I have mental dexterity up? The OP claimed a completely stunlocked shaman killed him. In order to proc MD you have to melee, copetastic.

Regardless I filmed some more examples of a tank set with woe and even an ele sham max sp set which il upload when im home from work.
Spoiler: the rogue still doesn’t die to an afk shaman,
It’s all hyperbole because they’re upset they can’t win every single fight with no counter play anymore.

biggest iq rogue n/a next up and coming reckful
man is so good he doesnt need cc or kicks or control he just bursts all day every day

because melee can die to your lightning when you are punching another player/NPC ?
Because your mental agility lasts for freaking 1 min ?
Because that’s how lightning shield becomes the most broken garbage in game ?
because you need to hit a random critter to keep your buffs forever ?

Mental dexterity is a 10 sec buff, you’re spouting nonsense you have no clue about.

oh, so does it change how broken that garbage is ?

Just terrible and lazy design. Things appear to not be tested.

Just fact checking your legit 6x hyperbole on the duration pal, the lies in this thread are rampant so I’m just keeping you all in check.

Fyi, Ret and rogue can both kill any shaman in a stunlock with no counter play even with LS if you have half an idea how to play your class.

I mean, that’s why this thread exists in the first place, so why not?

Don’t worry, the first adjustment they’ve made it to make sure that lightning shield also grants appropriate mana back…

Gotta love the audacity. You have a permament constant pulsing 200+ aoe dmging move that doesnt limit your ability to move or avoid attacks or cast other spells, but its not enough.

Well I think that settles the discussion, cutting it down to a third
