I had my second lucid adventure with sleep paralysis today, this time my vision wasn’t making much sense, one of my eyes’ input was rotated 90 degrees so I couldn’t really see or understand what was going on. However I called the sleep paralysis demon that was holding me down cute and I think they liked it. I said “can’t see you cutie” out loud and the pressure was lowered somehow.
Then I started shaking my foot around, then leg around, then it was like I was breaking the barrier between conscious and unconscious, eventually I was out of this barrier (awake) and everything felt unreal.
I kind of wish I never learned how to lucidly dream, it’s done more harm than good and I really don’t recommend it to anybody. Enjoy your weird dreams and just wake up when you get scared in a nightmare. Being conscious that you’re dreaming and actively aware that you’re stuck in a nightmare (and trying to wake up but not really having control over it) must be the closest thing I’ve ever experienced to hell. Then you have to actually think and be present and worry how to get out/away, it’s like watching a horror movie vs playing a horror game but a step up because you have no idea how to turn off the monitor (always an option in real life).

A former neighbor used to make that all the time, though never with the pineapple. So good, but I haven’t had it in ages.
Another I haven’t had in a long time is pistachio pudding mix and Cool-Whip, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and chopped walnuts. Mom would sometimes add some coconut flakes, too.

so quick life update on my pancake situation. after many failed attempts i think i got it.
so the pancake just flattens itself once it gets all heat up but i figured you can stack another layer on top of it half way through cooking it. then it’s twice as thick and fluffy all the way round.
I added a little more oat milk than what the recepie called for but the results were phenomenal. My pancakes were almost like a corssant with how light and delicately they managed to cook. Hell yeah.
I think I’m pancaked out for the next few months tho. definitely gonna try some waffles next time

I wish I had the patience to watch all the mst3k episodes. I watched the popular ones and loved them. But ooo boy a lot of the stuff they watched back then was boring.

Yeah, there are some rough ones. Like one of the most famous, Manos: The Hands of Fate I cannot really handle. But there’s some easy ones, there’s a few old Godzilla and Gamera movies, Prince of Space is an old Japanese kinda sci-fi hero movie. The old Hercules movies aren’t too bad either.
But yeah, I understand completely

Still cute the actor who played Rowsdower loved the fans. I think he’s passed on by now. But it was still cute he got to see just a wave of fans genuinely thinking he’s great.
