Okay that’s cute and a little extra funny because one of my oldest OCs was a bi vampire.

I cannot explain the connection between vampires and Bi individuals, but it’s there and it’s strong lmao.
Source: Me and pretty much every Bi person I know.
On an individual level, I certainly prefer to be referred to as being pansexual (though bisexual is okay-ish) whether in same gender or not relationship. However, for me I don’t mind a relationship itself being labeled as gay when I’ve been in relationships with men. That doesn’t bother me. But, yeah, like Avarie says, if we are talking real people, ask since there are people who have more investiture in avoiding bi- or pan-erasure.
For fictional character where there’s no explicit labeling of the relationship? Maybe just roll with what feels right.
I got distracted and had to do something else, so I see Deunan said basically what I was going to. So, I’ll just leave it there. But, yeah, just ask if you need to.
For some of us, whether because of medical reasons or because alcoholism/addiction, we have to refrain from alcohol. I was 16 when I started and 25 when I quit…However, I certainly would have a drink today—right now—if I knew I could…but I can’t. So, if it helps, know you don’t suffer in alcohol sobriety alone.
Heh… least the times I did drink was fun because I’d get a gentle warm buzz going while on vacation and then vibe in Disneyland. Never been drunk. I just enjoyed the warm buzz and that was enough for me.
Being buzzed while riding Fantasyland rides at night was dope lol
I think everyone always has new stuff to learn about everything! There’s nothing wrong with that, either.
if we’re talking Disneyland’s Fantasyland, that place was fun to just hang out. I grew up in SoCal and had a resident pass (was 90 dollars 22 years ago i think) and sometimes my friends and I would just go for half the day, or even a couple hours.
Welp, I just learned a new term today, Achillean that is.
Don’t feel bad for not knowing terms.
I came out initially in 1993.
I’m 52 now and working on my final form .
I’m still learning new terms for things everyday.
I was away from the lgbt community for years and close to 5 years ago I started putting my foot out the door again and was bombarded by new things with terms and identites in the community.
I like to see it as , at any given time we are always learning new things
Last time I was there at Disneyland adult admission was $13.75 in 1982.
that’s awesome - before I was born [:
I just briefly glanced at this exchange and you’ve introduced a new thing to get anxious over getting wrong
Just going to have to start calling people “friend-havers” or “relationshippers”
I don’t know if it’s because of my autism or just me as a person, but I just never got into alcohol. Didn’t like the taste of most of them and it seemed more like a chore to get the effects of it rather than just a fun side-effect. Tried a couple of drinks at a family Christmas once and when my head felt like it had NA-OCE latency I just thought “wow, great, I feel like I’ve been poisoned and it sucks.” and then it subsided shortly after.
Long time before I was as well, lol.
tbf, just 1 year - or a number of months - before i spawned in
Yeah I tried to like Disneyworld but eh. I was not built for that much humidity. Bro I was dying in that mucky air. I’m much more a Disneyland guy. Less walking and riding stuff park to park.
I miss going there. My agoraphobia wasn’t super bad there. I guess my brain was just “Dude there are cameras EVERYWHERE and tons of security. You’re safe. Relax.”
I generally dislike amusement park environments as well. Everything is overpriced. $3000 for a water bottle and slice of pizza which I’d expect to see embroided with gold flowers and mickey mouse pop out of it but it’s like microwave pizza. And then have to deal with hours of heat, noise, rude people, dehydration, and a lingering sense of regret of why did I even bother
never been to world, liked land - in fact, never been to florida
Wasn’t really fun in florida. But I’m used to dry heat. So going to Wet Heat SUCKED.
I have never been to a Disney Themepark, and now that I am an adult with PTSD and Severe anxiety issues…hard pass.
i moved to texas a bit ago and the humidity is still something im not used to, and this doesn’t get as humid as florida I don’t think (DFW area)
I went to Disney world Florida in '99 so I don’t remember much. I do know the lady at the hotel gave us some free choc donuts for breakfast for my siblings and I, so that was neat.
Went to cali Disney in I think 2015 and it was fine as a park, but I realised that it’s kinda limited as a park for adults as most adults seem to be parents.
Went to Disney Tokyo right after they opened up after covid. That was… Interesting. It’s 99.9% in Japanese and even the safety demo’s were in Japanese, so we were just along for the ride and looking around. I didn’t think everything would be in English, but I thought there might have been some minor things.
I think the Tokyo one is actually a separate company or something, though? So that might explain it.
I think there’s one in France and maybe another country that I’ve forgotten? Dunno.
this seems peculiar
