I actually learnt something from the Bureau of Meteorology.
While some people and countries use the equinoxes and solstices to define the start of each season, for Australia it’s a better fit to our temperatures to use 1 March, 1 June, 1 September and 1 December. Defining each season as a set of three whole calendar months is also convenient for compiling and presenting climate-based statistics.
Which countries or people use the equinoxes and solstices to switch the seasons.
I think the US does.

It is an world wide thing.
It’s what is also considered a pagan celebration of the changing of seasons throughout history, like with Yule and Samhain.

Is anyone else getting really annoyed by the people you have to explain the fight to?

I mean really.The group I just ran with on an alt, went running past where you kill the lvl 30 naga and the summoning stone going further into the dungeon for cripes sake.
Really glad I don’t have to run HH when it hits anymore if don’t want to ,can already see same thing happening there.
