Gotta love that the happy pride post is one of the least safe areas of GD for queer people right now, huh.
I guess I should always remember that pride is a protest, that way I wonât be disappointed. It must be nice to not feel unwelcome playing your favourite game.
Thatâs par for the course sadly, even this thread had a ton of back lash (Despite insistence from the same people giving backlash if there was a mega thread theyâd be fine with it, and look how that turned out.) sadly you just canât make a pride thread without people trying to be edgy cause edgy is so funny haha or having folks that canât help but insert their own beliefs into every thread
They want to stir up drama so the best thing to do is just ignore them. When they post something negative, post something positive thatâs completely unrelated to whatever they are blabbering on about. Just donât engage.
If they break the TOS by being especially hateful, report them and let the moderators deal with them.
Happy Pride Month!
until you run out of reports, since theyre so numerous.
Out of curiosity, did anyone watch the Real World New York reunion? I remember when the first season aired and watched it on a regular basis. At first I was like, âWhat the hell is this?â, but it grew on me. It was nice seeing where the cast is now and what they are like. While it brought on the boon of reality tv there was something honest about the first bunch of seasons. Especially how they introduced a great many people to those who are LQBTQ+. Thatâs something pretty important when I look back.
I saw real and New York and said yes I watch real housewives of New York but then re read what you said
Iâll be honest. I didnât even know this was a thing. Sorry!
Never much got into reality television
Itâs all good! I donât blame ya on not getting into reality tv. Itâs weird how far these sort of shows have come. I really only watched like the first 6 seasons of The Real World, which started in started in 1992, so Iâm well out of reality shows. One of the fascinating things about the very first Real World was they really didnât know what they were doing at the time. A lot of it was just sorta made up as they went along. The 3rd season, from 1994, is pretty important as it introduced millions of people to a young gay man who was HIV+. Pedro Zamora was such a great advocate and won a lot of people over. He and his partner had the very first same sex union on tv.
Anyway, old guy rambling on. lol
Iâm back after a self-imposed break from the forums. I was ready to eat the faces of hateful people, and I donât need the calories from bad face.
Neither should being cishet but here we are.
Sooooo⊠you clicked to go into the thread, scrolled down nearly 1,700 posts to complain about it being shoved down your throat. YeeeeahâŠ
Get a life
No it was the new topic on top this morning.
I got one, you might want to look at yours before you judge anyone.
What topic?
You know you donât have to click on it right?
So far all I can say about your life is that you waste your time posting in threads you donât want to post in.
No I wanted to post my opinion just like the poster did in this forum, so I gave my opinion.
So you post your opinion in threads you donât want to post in.
Gotcha.
Well lets see
You go into threads and get mad at people for existing
Think Iâm doing great into comparison
No, Iâm not mad sounds like you guys are mad at me posting my opinion. Iâm not mad at all.
