Posts like that, unfortunately, may appear to be made out of spite. It’s good for everyone to feel safe, but religion has not made some LGBTQ+ feel safe and bringing it into the thread may cause discourse. With that said, there’s also people of faith in this thread but faith isn’t the main discussion.

Stop assuming , it is a convo from another thread that shouldn’t have been brought here and discussed here for over half a day, simply because the ones upset about it being taken down decided to bring here.\
They keep bringing it here and wont shush about it and frankly I’ll keep calling it out because that topic belongs in the CS Forums.
Should I not be allowed to have a thread discussing this and like minded people can partake if they so choose?
If people feel some sort of way about the topic they don’t need to be involved.
Sure my post was a little rhetoric as ive seen these threads removed in the past.
Ive seen them derailed by people who here in this thread. They choose to get involved but they are not held to the same accountability.
Simply put if my thread isn’t allowed than this thread should not be allowed.

You could be allowed. But from my experience, those threads usually dissolve into political debates and even anti-LGBTQ statements, which break the code. This thread is mostly cats and friends. It’s often how the thread transforms, not always the intent of the original poster.

Because people go there and intentionally derail them.
Ive reported the people who do this and nothing happens.
Those threads were not made to go that direction
But you have certain bad actors who go and start posting inflammatory things and people rightfully stand up for themselves.
I’m just asking for the same treatment. Im not asking for this thread to not be allowed im saying again allow both or allow none.
If people post inflammatory things on either follow the same process for both.

Something does happen. The thread is deleted because the mods assume that the thread will continue to turn into political debates. It’s easier for mods to delete threads that cause discourse than continue to clean them out.

The Xtian thread even from what we saw here got brought in here to do nothing but stir up things here,
Xtians and other patriarchal religions often press their views and in violent ways on several occasions twards those who choose not to comply the their beleifs. Read your history.
The LGBTQ community doesn’t go out of their way to make laws prohbiting what Xitans can and can’t do , we’re not the ones putting laws on peoples bodies for example.That’s just one iota of examples .
I don’t see us going into public spaces and trying to harm others because we don’t agree with their reglion so yeah, before asking that, asking why do we feel unsafe in most areas and most will answer that most religions aren’t exactly kind to us,

You’re attempting to deflect and give reasons as to why im not allowed to have my thread.
This thread isn’t political, whereas other threads tend to be mostly political. You have to know this.
This thread may need a few dozen responses weeded out every few weeks whereas other mega threads may need hundreds. It isn’t a bias thing, it’s a workload thing. It is often easier to delete the thread.

Don’t engage them. Let the political winds change. They’ve got the Streisand Effect; they try telling everyone to boycott Hogwarts Legacy and its trending to be the most sold in 2023; athletes that refuse to wear their rainbows are watching their jerseys sell out in minutes; and the news cycles…

I’ll be buying hogwarts legacy just because I know there was a large transgender community who worked on the game and made moves to make the game inclusive. But it’s okay that people don’t want to buy the game for their beliefs. That isn’t something that should be shamed.
huh? I was literally in that thread talking about the subject matter and trying to connect with the people there.
Also fuzz was there trying to make the thread positive by talking about kittens when you were fighting with others. What are you trying to get out of this situation by lying?

I am not going to hold the entire transgender community to a flame for the beliefs of some people in that community. Just like I wouldn’t hold the entire Christian community to flame for the beliefs of some Christians, and etc.
Demanding boycotts, as much as you may disagree with it, is still peaceful protest and everyone has that right.
