i feel like with slender man, i just lost interest right around the time that news thing happened. i never even got around to playing the one game that got so popular. i was too much of a chicken. well, that and i always hated that piano doink sound

no, i donāt write. i was into lit a lot more in the past, then i took one creative writing class in college and it didnāt really do it for me. Reading is a little bit harder now, not sure if itās my attention span or what but i tend to do that thing where you read over the same sentence like 5 times and then forget what came before that because youāre distracted over the fact that you just read the same sentence 5 times.
i just buy ebooks now with audible and have narrative dictation. helps me focus more

Got Aphantasia. I struggle with imagining things. I can imagine stuff if I have reference however. So if a book doesnāt have art I can use for the setting or how characters look, it all kinda ends up gray mush in my head lol.
i feel like games are just a better way of telling stories. I try to picture what FFXIV would be like as a movie vs a book series vs a game for example, and itās like, even though i donāt play for the gameplay, i play for the story and thatās just fine for me.
that reminds me of how i was recently getting back into the hunger games. After completely falling in love with the third movie (Mockingjay part 1 + 2) and kinda remembering all the buildup, i feel a little bit sad that i never read the books. but i think iād still prefer the movies because i notice things like how the hanging tree scene specifically de-personalized the capitol guards on the dam by obscuring their faces in black helmets covered in rain drops. that ended up being one of my favorite scenes

last I read they had to sorta lock certain numbers and make them off limits because people kept making so many of one number
