It’s a very unnatural thing for prey animals to walk towards danger, especially the loud ruckus of a predator’s attack.
It’s a shame the video didn’t have any original audio because you could also point that perhaps a clearer indication could be that they heard the cries of the chicken and reacted in defense of them all as a whole.
I’m very realistic but I would say they definitely had some form of connection, even if just for the safety of the whole. Animals really are amazing.
Not really. I grew up on a farm, roosters will 100% attack things and they are predatory too. They will kill and eat snakes. They will attack anything they perceive as a threat. They have giant spurs that they use too.
Donkeys are used to kill coyotes too because a donkey will not stop til that coyote is gone. I would assume goats would be the same way. The ol’ flight or fight thing.
