I’ve been thinking about switching to topical
the quintissential ‘gay accent’ isn’t as common anymore. which has a direct correlation to the growing acceptance of lgbtq+ people culturally.
while there is no 100% consensus on where it ‘came from’ the most plausible theory that I’ve heard about it, was that it developed during the 60’s and 70’s when ‘gay culture’ was starting to become more visible and mainstream, but was still very dangerous for people to actually ‘come out’ as a way for gay men to identify each other, while still affording a level of plausible deniability.
If you were a gay man, wondering if another man you were attracted to was also gay, in an era where it could get you beaten, or even worse, just for -asking- the wrong person. the accent was a relatively subtle way for people to identify themselves. and more importantly, was something that could also be easily dropped in an unsafe environment. (a form of ‘code-switching’)
while it does persist even to today, its mostly just a stylistic artifact within gay culture. and is far less common because thankfully (for most of us) we no longer need to worry about getting curbstomped for flirting openly, or with the wrong person.

How are you liking the topical? I’ve been 6 weeks straight on T now and still nothing. Ik it’s supposed to be 2-3 months for effects but I’m still scared I’m doing this wrong, lol.
Nah, its normal to be like this. Your body first has to build up the required levels and then welcome to puberty. Youre not instantly jumping to the required levels.

To my understanding with many of conversations with my doctor gel and injections work essentially the same just a different method.
Alot of what you are going through with HRT is also genetics as well as hrt.Some effects can take time. I’ve been on T almost a year and a half and am just now starting to get sideburns.

I keep forgetting to use it. Something about having a bird brain.
I keep meaning to set an alarm to remind me but I forget.
It’s fine I just forget to use it half the time.
But I’ve also had a hysterectomy double oophorectomy so my experience may be different than others.

Hmmmmm.
Working on stories still. I headcanoned some “rules” for Incubi and Succubi. One being they can read auras off people. Now I just gotta think up what color is what.

Eh I googled those and its not quite what I’m looking for.
The auras in mind are basically “Okay is this person reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally consenting?” as one example.

“Just remember, Dark Colors are negative, and Light Colors are positive. That is why I think the concept of the colors of a Mood Ring work best. Like if the Succubi senses a dark aura, it could mean a no. Things like that. WHICH Color has gone dark, could symbolize WHY the answer is no. Did that make sense?”
