“Nope. Haven’t seen that one. Sorry.”
/smile
Sea of Thieves continues to be a very fun game if you’ve got the fortitude for it
We recently took over an entire server by flat out being bullies and forcing them to alliance with us, then using these newly forced teammates to help us force others to work under us
Made so much money
Lol it’s like when you have someone like something on your Facebook or other social media from 10 years ago and it’s like… “thanks… uh… ok then?”
XD
I get that with my tumblr blog sometimes.
To the surprise of absolutely no one. My new fav armor set in Monster Hunter is from a rose themed monster.
I am not a huge fan of the idea that they’re suggesting that only in death would someone be their true self.
Looks like the Tull troll realized their “feedback” for pride suggestions wasn’t gonna happen and finally did their advice and moved to RuneScape.
Here’s hoping they stay there or stay silent and give the forums and us some peace so the drama can stop for a while.
Going to Georgia for the weekend and the 4th gonna go to the beach. Hoping I don’t get a tomato sun tint lol.
Last i saw they made a thread on an alt dk we called em out it was taken down and we haven’t seen them since.
Hope all goes well on your trip!
just wait down the line you get to layerd it

I missed that one but glade it’s been removed. I hope so. So far the traffic just getting there’s been horrible. Partners on the verge of just going back home lol he hates driving and tbh it’s getting rediculious. We should be there by 3. Now looks to be by 4:30 or 5 x_x
As trans person who lives in a “free blue state,” and knows something about how trans people are treated here,I can’t agree with the nonsense that we are generally accepted.
Along with how the proud boys showed up to a local LGBT+ event at a children’s museum ready to raid it like they did in San Lorenzo.
They left shortly after they noticed our largegay mens chorus singing “we are the world,” on repeat probably as off key as possible. They realized they’d have to face a fair fight and left.
I don’t even know why that person is even posting here.
I discovered a band that does a mix between power metal/heavy metal and electronics with a commodore 64 sid midi chip as an instrument. And like almost all of their 100+ song catalogue are bangers.
These are their two newest releases. Also they like when people make music videos of their songs, like anime videos and stuff.
I also fancy this group but they have a lot of mellow songs mixed in with the bangers.
Are you talking about the Proud Boys showing up in South Bend? Isn’t that in Indiana? Not exactly a blue state.
I worked for a large computer manufacturer in Massachusetts in software development. We had a rather significant transgender population and we always got along fine.
At one point, one of the guys in our group transferred to female and we were all very supportive. In other groups where I worked with trans I never saw any problems.
No. I’m talking about the proud boys showing up in Rancho Cordova, which is in the bluest state.
There was also the incident in San Lorenzo, which is also in a blue state.
So, what you are saying is that you, a cis person, never saw anything at work where there are anti-discrimination laws that keep people who hate quiet for fear of losing their jobs therefore it doesn’t exist and me, an actual trans person in California who has seen and experienced things is clearly lying?
I think you may be confusing law induced silence with lack of hate.
Maybe you should actually listen to trans people. I live as a trans person every day of my life and have for years. In one of the most liberal places in the country I have faced medical gatekeeping, I have been refused care. I have been called slurs in the classroom at uni. I have seen other trans people face threats of violence, violence, and corrective assault.
Roughly 25% of the 128 hate crimes committed in the closest city to me last year were committed against LGBT+ people, second only to race based hate crimes. In fact, overall hate crimes are up compared to the 31 from 2019, 48% of which were against LGBT+ people. The drop in anti-LGBT+ hate crimes probably has to do with COVID-19 shutting down pride events in 2020 and 2021. We’ll see how that changes when the 2022 report comes out.
Let’s cruise on over to look at some Massachusetts statistics, shall we?
According to the big infographic, there was 62 out of 204 hate crimes against people that targeted LGBT+ people in 2020, that’s 30%. Again keep in mind COVID-19 resulted in shutting down things like pride in a lot of places. This is evidenced by the fact that there were 99 such crimes in 2019.
We will likely see an increase in such events nationwide due to the massive amounts of anti-LGBT+ rhetoric being spread right now when the 2022 statistics come out.
Dear god I fear when Fall rolls around SCOTUS is going to strike down rulings that protected LGBTQ+. police raids in clubs for suspected homosexual activity, literally back to 1960s era.
I grew up in Massachusetts and got relentlessly bullied and assaulted just for being queer, let alone gay. Probably depends on the actual part of the state you’re in.
Speaking of which, sending love to my fellow queer people. This past month has extremely rough with my emotional health.
I remember being too scared to confront my thoughts on transition when I was in high school because of how people in my school system just treated mental health and LGBT. The mere thought of being transgender and attracted to someone of the same gender terrified me. I was already alone at school I didn’t want to deal with daily harrasment as well. (And I wasn’t the only person in my school who felt that way either. Found out later at my community center that someone else got away from my school so they could be themselves.)
I would love a world where LGBT people are accepted by everyone. But I haven’t seen things work out that way. I can’t get my parents to accept me for who I am. People still have hate filled signs in their yards, even on my block. Hugh. Sometimes I am even scared to go outside. I love being myself but. . . I don’t want to be killed over it.
The Proud Boys are trouble makers. They are near the very bottom of the barrel of American society. They have been designated as a terrorist organization in Canada and New Zeland. They are not representative of the people of California.
As for the place where I worked, I was good friends with the people around me. I would have known if they had a problem with the transgenders. They did not.
I’m a woman with a lot of male features just because that’s just how I am. Was just… how I was made from the Lord / genetics. I’m doing genetic testing to test for intersex (XY variation along with other genetic aspects of intersex) and going to be speaking with my OBGYN once I get the results back for hormone testing etc to see if I have some degree of intersex or PCOS. If not, well I’m just a stout woman with a facial hair issue. lol I’ve had my hormones tested ages ago and I make too many male hormones. Doctor at the time blew it off as “you’re fat your hormones get messed up being heavy set.” I was heavier and lost the weight… but gained some back (gotta work on that).
Anyway, I would get made fun of for having a bit of beard or for being strong (beating football players in arm wrestling for example without any weight training at the time). And when I say a bit of a beard uh… it was a shorter beard. Mom wouldn’t let me shave it she would only allow me to wax it and I don’t wish that anyone. That is the most painful thing on the face of the planet. I shave all that off now. I have to shave daily. Dad just said that was his side of the family coming through (apparently that side of the family is hairy?)
I have a deeper voice than most woman and I masked it until recently by attempting to sound “squeeky” and “nasal.” I talk with a deep voice now when I get the chance.
I would get attacked at school and I had to defend myself. At work places, once they find out I’m able to lift things the female co workers would always… ALWAYS ask me to lift something. I don’t mind that though. I got my exercise in and it saved their back lol so win win.
I have came to the conclusion that people suck usually. You find very few that are accepting and if your coworkers are accepting that’s good. You have to understand though that a lot of folks will simply keep quiet in order to avoid confrontation OR “put up” with something while at a job in order to note get fired. I believe that’s what Zan is pointing out.
We don’t know your employees or your experiences with them either. We all have our own experiences and I hope that everyday that we as people get stronger and more accepting of others.
I’ve also lived in the red states (WV, OH, KY) and most folks out this way are accepting, even older folks. The people that make a stink are the folks in high school that if you were “different” they made it their priority to make your life a living hell. They didn’t learn they just got older. Some did though and they had good lives with families and their children aren’t like that, which is good. Also folks that I 100% don’t think have ever read the bible a day in their life that try to push stuff. I’m going to a Christian college and most of the classes are bible study classes. Everyone there is accepting regardless of how a person orients themselves. The body is a vessel with a spirit inside. People forget that.
Sorry I know this was a bit long and I have more to say but I’ll stop for now cause it’s getting REALLY long.
Btw this was supposed to reply to @tiffany idk why it didn’t or if it did.
“If there are no posts in between, the name of the poster you are replying to will not show up in your post.”
Ah ok I may have hit reply on the wrong post. I meant to reply to the one before Zan’s comment.
lol oops.
Either way they will get the memo I’m sure when they go to read the thread again.
