LGBTQ+ Megathread & Lounge (Part 1)

He is trans.

He mentions that in life he had a female form that never felt right, but when he awoke in Bastion he had a male form and felt comfortable in his body for the first time.

There is no indication that he is trans or anything else. He made it clear he doesn’t remember his life, family, friends, etc. Those memories were gone when we first encountered him.

Except for all of this:

Troll but I’ll entertain it because there is something to be said here. The answer is that Gen Z is more comfortable when it comes to their generations culture. They’ve been around it being more accepted as they have grown up. This doesn’t really change older generations view points though, there is a much higher rate of homophobia as you progressively go up the tree. Coming out with some of these people will unfortunately possibly cause extreme ostracization. And that’s without getting into trauma. It still can get pretty bad, but it was REALLY bad when some of these generations were younger. With the Reagan administration literally laughing at the AIDS pandemic and making jokes about how they wished/ think certain reporters will get it before it became a problem for more than just the gay community.

Laff at people coming in here complaining about generation Z as if to say we’re all gen Z.

Meanwhile I’m all like, laughs in xennial.

There has been a dramatic decrease in anti gay bigotry over the last few decades. As late as the '60s and '70s there were brain dead bigots who would beat gay people for being who they were. No doubt this was out of fear because many could hear the closet door rattling.

Today gender orientation is generally accepted, especially in the free blue states.

Xennial as well. They always hate the youngest generation.

They call us ones on the cusp between X and Y Xennial or Elder Millennials (they’ve also used Geriatric Millennial), haha. We were Millennials at one point until we got too old for that designation.

Or geriatric millennial.

I grew up in the 80s listening to power metal.

Yeah I forgot that one for a second. Maybe because that threw me off when I first saw it. Because at first I was like no, don’t like it at all. But then I thought about it for a minute. And it’s like my mind thinks young, my body feels old. It’s right! I am kind of geriatric now, haha!

I was born in 80. Use to dance around the coffee table to MTV videos while my mom cleaned the house.

Yeah same.

I adored people like George Michael and the B52’s and all the metal bands.

Turns out, 4/5 of the B52’s we’re LGBT+.

I never knew that. That’s good to know!

Is it really that difficult to wrap your head around how people in an hostile environment will not reveal these things? I’m not out to a lot of people because they’ve literally wished death upon the community.

“I was born in 57. I use to do that too, only I was a bit older.”

Unlocked a monster I needed for parts at least. Now I just gotta hunt it a bunch. ( Its Rakna Kadaki. I need her for bow parts and armor. )

After sleep. Need to give my hands a break because I play on a switch lite. So I get little raptor hands basically lol
