LGBTQ+ Megathread & Lounge (Part 1)

Ah the gamecube remake. Lisa was a terrifying addition to the original story.

I still wish I could play the old silent hill games. Anytime I try to order a copy of 2 -4 it ends up dinged to heck even if I order new. And I refuse to get the “remastered” edition of 2 and 3. I did hear fans were remastering 2 so I’m sure eventually I’ll get to play it and have it look a little polished without ruining it like the official remaster. Watched a lot of playthrus of it though but it’s not the same.

There’s just something about 2. I can’t quite get the words right.

I’ve never watched the movie again.

I’m also a 40 year old that’s afraid of the dark.

Though my roommate says we’re basically on a leyline highway and there are curious things out there looking in, like fae. This she has our house warded with all sorts of wild stuff like cold iron.

I’m not sure if I believe that stuff or if I’m just chicken.

“Growing up on Horror Movies, by the time I was grown, I laughed all the way through movies like Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses, and Strangeland.”

Black Christmas (The remake) is probably the only horror movie I’ve genuinely come out wishing I never watched. I watched it with some of my family that is politically charged so I had to deal with a ton of ranting about an already bad movie on the car ride to bed.

House of 1000 Corpses is one of my favs. I prefer it more over the sequels. Still a trip to see Bill Mosely knowing he had his arm around me during a photo. He’ll always be Chop Top Sawyer to me

The original or the remake?

The remake. I just realized there was also a remake in the early 2000’s so the remake of the remake.

“Ever seen Strangeland?”

Ah. I did hear the directors cut of that was a little better. Not sure why that movie had such a fascination with eyeballs.

I do love how a lot of horror movie culture does kinda intersect a bit with lgbt stuff. It’s kinda easy to relate to a lot of the stuff horror handles. ( Also the 2nd Nightmare on Elm Street. Cmon. )

Heard of it. It takes me awhile to try new things

You don’t need horror movies when life is already a nightmare

Yeah I heard the SH2 remake was buggy and the scuffed it.

I belive Silent hill 2 was the only one of that franchise I beat 100%
Was really good. 3 and the room were really odd. 3 being super bugged on the 3 pack remake for the show 360

Man, I’ve just realized how much Covid has crapped on my watchlist. Haven’t been to the movies since 2019.

Buggy and they messed up the fog. And it took fan backlash to get them to have an option to have new voice acting or the old voices. The new ones are fine but it can’t beat the original “dream like” quality to the original actors

It’s so hard to love a game and not actually have chances to play it. I could gush about this game for ages

Thanks, its been ages since i say how it was written. Ill be fixing it.

While not a bad movie “the witch” I found a hard time finding scary but also couldn’t find it funny so it didn’t fit my rule of if it’s not scary it’ll be funny. But I think it’s because it was all in like old English so I was like side eyeing it the whole time. But I think I’ve seen a lot of people meme aspects of it on Twitter so it must have been liked by some people is the sentiment I get
