I agree conservatives are stupid with their Marxism fear mongering.
Unfortunately I also believe they are going to win big in 2022 and 2024 in large part due to pushback against the trans community.
As a straight dude in my 30s I feel like itâs honestly just too much to keep up with. So many new made up words that I donât understand what they mean but apparently Iâm offending people or being hateful by not using them?
Live your life however you want, justâŠdonât expect everyone else to participate and memorize the 500 new genders that get discovered each year.
I can see it happening, people are getting real tired of cancel culture.
It must be so hard for people having to correct themselves with that darn-fangled new gender pronoun he.
Iâve never met a single person who has expected the cishet population to memorize all the neopronouns.
Itâs not asking too much to ask someone to use different pronouns.
When I met someone with Ze Hir Hir pronouns I had to ask a few times for it to be repeated and spelled so I could understand it and no one gave me crap about it.
This is another right wing exaggeration and fear mongering technique.

I donât mind calling anyone whatever they want to be called, and I donât think most people have an issue with this.
Like yeah if you clearly look like a dude you are probably going to get called a dude constantly, but if someone asks politely to be called something different sure, Iâll play along if it makes that personâs day better, why not?
Thatâs not really the stuff I was talking about when I said you are going to lose the election due to pushback.
Also, Iâm as far from right wing as you can get. I voted straight blue ticket.
And the reality is even if people mess up sometimes trans and non-binary folks are not typically going to get angry or anything. Keep in mind we get murdered just for being trans. Do you think weâre going to make a big deal with someone who might become enraged?
Every time I think about correcting pronouns I question, âis it safe to be out with this person?â
While you say most people donât have an issue, there are many who get super offended at the idea of us even existing.

This goes for most minority groups. Those folks typically donât really get upset. Usually, Itâs people that are not part of those groups that feel they need to be offended on behalf of those groups.

Iâm just sayin, my personal feeling is that the trans movement is gonna give us Trump / DeSantis in 2024 due to how relentless you guys have been in pushing for rights that in some cases seem privileged.
Not really referring to pronouns, like I said, Iâm happy to call people whatever they want if they ask politely.

We need to blame the 8 year old trans girls for wanting to play in sports and trying to get puberty blockers so they can delay puberty and have more time to make a choice and not have to have as many traumatic surgeries when theyâre older.
Theyâre totally killing our democracy not the old guys trying to strip voting rights.
