I do, yeah. Sadly spam is something Blizzard deals with the least because it generally requires knowing other things they posted or that they continually posted the same, or similar things previously and how they handle tickets and don’t allow you to add messages to reports prevents them from seeing that. They’re both still spam.
Yeah. There was some reason given, IIRC, on why they went with the Discourse forum instead of another. But for the life of me I can’t remember what it was. I hope they choose another forum software in the future with all the bells and whistles, rather than one created by some idiot with illusions of How People Behave.

What does this analogy even mean? Is the “T gang” the ones who let the cockroaches in, I.E. the “T gang” allowed people to be bigoted jerks on the WoW forums?

Like Zan pointed out, because these threads are moderated the way they are, the people spewing the hatred are given safe havens to spew their bile, while the people standing against it are the ones mostly punished.
If there was no platform, if there was no safe haven, they’d be more easily taken care of.

How are the people who stand against transphobia punished? Aren’t the mods routinely restoring posts opposing bigotry?
Unless you think the people who are making these threads are the ones spewing hatred?

It’s just the trends of how these threads go. The people who post actually transphobic/homophobic/etc. sentiments rarely get the post removed or forum vacations, but the people who argue against them tend to get punished under the code of conduct.
It was that ignore causes disjointed discussions or something.
They have since deleted the cringe threads on their own forum.

…I think you and I are paying attention to different forums because I’ve yet to see a person who opposes transphobia get booted unless they were so vile that not even Blizzard could justify defending it.

Sure, but then they preach about ‘muting’ and everything else said threads and telling others not to ‘bite the bait’ while they eat the bait. You have plenty, like a certain undead that revel in it actually as they were quite giddy to discuss about
