LFR ruined my actual raiding experience

Why did I feel so underwhelmed when I finally killed Denathrius in heroic after doing him in LFR?

Probably because LFR kills the raiding experience and makes your first clear of the raid completely mundane.

Remove it, thanks Blizz. Thumbs up if you agree

If you cared out about Heroic progression, then you’d have had no gear-based need to do LFR at the time of its release and thus spoil the fight for yourself.

Alternatively… it’s no longer Sunday.

Honestly think LFR could be enjoyable for most people, if it was tuned similarly to how it was in Cata/MoP.

Had some fun doing it on alts back then, now its… whats even the point in doing it

Maybe don’t do LFR?

To be fully honest, I got AoTC this season by accidently queuing for an H raid, when I meant to queue for an N raid raid for the red armor xmog. With content so lackluster that I didn’t realize it was H until halfway through the raid, I’m not shocked that killing the last boss on H wasn’t satisfying for you.

Yeah lets remove the one last thing casuals can do. That will retain their subs!

There’s no reason to tear down LFR except out of some need to satisfied some kind of petty spite.

Infact it needs to be buffed, as the gear you get from it is lesser than what you can get from Covenant quest lines.

Here’s a tip: Don’t do LFR first.

You can skip straight to Normal pugs from doing Low M+ dungeons to gear up.

Sounds like you couldn’t kill Denathrius on Normal raid, and skipped to try him on Heroic?, but realized your raiding party wasn’t good enough so you pressed the immediate happiness button?

If you can progress that far with a solid raid, there would be no reason to do LFR,
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Updated my character, I have no idea why it keeps reverting it to my wow: classic mage.

:fishing_pole_and_fish:

lfr can’t be more worthless than what we have right now, it’s okay to farm because of transmog but nothing else out of that… it was already nerfed to stupidity reward wise.

Then raid normal? Heroic? Mythic?

No need to remove it because you don’t like it.

4 modes is the problem not lfr.

I despise LFR, so know that before i say this.

You can just not do lfr.

I definitely disagree with this notion. Because of me having an actual life outside of WoW, its definitely difficult for me to get involved in normal raids let alone anything higher than that. As a casual player, this allows me to have a better idea of what is going on. I hated not knowing what happened in the raid.

So I realize this irritates you, but for me, this is enjoyable content that I now get to participate in.

Lol LFR Sire came out like february, should have completed normal by then. But then normal would have killed your heroic experience and you would want that removed.

Or… how about you just don’t do it?

LFR is 100% optional. You don’t need to do it. You can skip over it completely, gearing yourself up via dungeons and M+ until you are geared for normal mode, then go from there to heroic and beyond.

I’m really tired of people suggesting that an entire form of content that thousands of people enjoy (and for many is their only form of raiding content) should be taken away just because they don’t like it, when the option to not do that content exists.

Imagine if people started jumping in and saying: “I don’t enjoy PvP, remove it.” or “I don’t enjoy mythic raiding, remove it.”

That’s what you’re doing but with LFR.

Stop it.

LFR helps in a more subtle way when you think about it.

LFR can give a boost to players by giving them a familiarity with the content and a basic introduction to mechanics in it. It can give them some confidence heading into normal and higher difficulties, as well.

Of course, a lot of people stick to LFR and don’t progress, but it’s still a good training experience in case they may in the future.
