Uh, so I’ve been in the queue for 2 hours now. Is this normal? Does it get stuck and I’ll never get in?
Part of the problem stems from having been put in at the last boss in the Crimson Descent wing, so I requeued after and I believe it will only put you in a fresh one (to guarantee you get the rest of the bosses).
My queue button on the mini map has shown a full set of healers and dps for the past hour but no tanks. This is getting sad.
If no tanks, or not enough tanks, are queuing - not much you can do, or Blizzard can do, other than keep waiting or trying again later.
Also keep in mind, it’s getting towards the end of the playing week - so less and less would naturally be queuing compared to the immediately after the weekly reset.
Right, which I don’t know which is why I asked in customer service if it’s possible. Don’t want to make a false bug report, I’m sure they get plenty of those.
Not worried about getting in trouble, just don’t want to be one of THOSE people.
The queue poped at 2hr 10m (ish) just a few mins ago, however some dps didn’t accept so I was put back in queue again. So it looks like it’s working, the tank situation is just THAT bad.
And maybe they are all legit.
And yes, I’m aware no one wants to tank, that’s because of the toxicity of the community and also the lack of skilled tanks.
Again, just making sure the queue bugging out isn’t a thing because I didn’t want to sit here all night. It was a question, not a bug report or an analysis on the LFR dynamic.
No one here can give you exact information if something is bugged. These are a player supported help forum. The people that know these things generally don’t come here. If an SFA decides to look int it, it might be a few days before they find out anything (Seeing how it’s the weekend, it’s not gonna be likely you get anything soon). That’s why we tell you to make a post in Bug Reports so QA can investigate.
People don’t reply there like they do here. So not really the same when I’m sitting in queue and wondering at that very second.
It’s resolved though, as I already marked. And I got in officially at about 2 1/2hrs. So it’s nonissue at this point.
Though it’s also substantially more likely that the activity in Customer Support isn’t related to your issue at all, so quite possibly a greater issue.
I would have to agree that it would have been better suited in Bug Reports, because QA can’t diagnose from this forum in case there was an issue. It’s definitely possible that it might happen to you again, despite knowing the cause this time around.
I’ve seen your posts and replies since you live here, you are one of the snarkiest people on here.
And if deemed a bug, I would have been glad to make that post. However, that was not the question and I was looking for immediate answers. Of course, no one provided one so oh well. As already stated, my queue popped and I was able to get in after waiting 2 1/2 hours so nonissue now.
Just to be clear, the Bug Report forums are not just for confirmed bugs. It’s a place to post suspected bugs too. As you know Jen, the CS forums are not supported by the QA team that tests reported bugs. The blues here can sometimes confirm bugs, but that doesn’t mean what you experienced wouldn’t count as one.
When we think/feel/experience a bug, the appropriate place for it is indeed the Bug Report Forums.
You said that you don’t want to be one of “THOSE” people…well, “THOSE” people post about possible bugs in the wrong forums sometimes too Anytime you experience what might be a bug, the Bug Report Forums is the right place to report it
Was looking not to waste further time and was asking a time sensitive question in a forum where people answer questions (and answer them with some speed). Wasn’t looking to report a bug.
